Meets expectations
Just received these today and I find their quality to be more than adequate -- especially given that they cost about $1.67 each. They are made of LDPE, so don't put them into boiling water. (May melt at about 220F or 105C.) But they can otherwise be used quite well. Their caps appear to be able to tightened sufficiently that there is little risk they will accidentally pop off during use, too. (Some similarly offered bottles on Amazon can't be trusted, at all, in this regard.)Just as I'd expected to get for the price. So I'm happy with these.LDPE is often also used for making some plastic gasoline cans and to hold various other volatile organics. I have found a PDF file that discusses the compatibility of various fluids with LDPE. See below:http://www.newpig.com/wcsstore/NewPigUSCatalogAssetStore/Attachment/documents/ccg/LDPE.pdf

Works well for acrylic painting and pouring
Perfect, just what I needed to pre-mix my paints and apply them with the nozzle. The caps fit well and I've not had any leakage.

These bottles are awesome!
I never dreamed I would be excited over a squeeze bottle. These are pretty great. They are inexpensive and good quality.I bought these to help organize my pantry, and get the oils, vinegars, condiments, sauces, and whatnot under control. All the odd size bottles were taking over my kitchen cabinet. I also recently went on a stir-fry binge with a new wok, and found that I was spending a ridiculous amount of time measuring out small quantities of oils, vinegar, sauces, etc. so I wouldn't have to fumble around with large bottles while trying to cook. Harking back to my restaurant days, I had an epiphany. Hey! Why not get some squeeze bottles!Long story short, between being able to make my cooking more efficient, and making additional room in my cupboard with the uniform bottle size, life is now wonderful. Well, okay, maybe not LIFE, but it certainly has paid off in the kitchen.I bought these in both the 8 ounce and 16 ounce, and my only lament is that I can't seem to find this same bottle in a 24 oz or a 32 oz. If I could find those sizes in this brand, I would buy them in a heart beat.I bought another brand of what was supposed to be 24 oz bottles with tip caps, and they were pretty lousy. Not only were they NOT 24 oz, they were actually 16 oz, they were squishy feeling and flimsy and the caps didn't stay on well. They are making a return trip.I should note that since I have only had them a few days, I can't speak to long term durability or leaking. But so far, no leaks, caps (and tips) stay on well, and if they don't last a lifetime I don't care. They are reasonable. I would buy these again as replacements for any that die over time.Buy these. You will like them.Minor edit: I misspoke. The 16 oz bottles that I bought appear to be made by the same manufacturer (my guess) but are not "Easy Squeeze." The 16 oz bottles are virtually identical. The second set of these that I purchased was actually another of the 8 oz bottles. Wanted to clarify that.

Nice product
I bought these for decorating my Christmas sugar cookies with royal icing. They work well for this as long as you don't want very detailed work, because the opening is not tiny enough to make thin lines. I'm not sure if I will use the bottles for this application next year because of this, however they are great to use for other things as well. I intend on using them for homemade salad dressings and sauces, which they will be perfect for. They are the perfect size, not too big and not too small. I also love that the red caps snap over the opening, so you can tell that they are on there and that whatever is inside will not spill. I washed them without any problems on the top rack of my dishwasher. I would purchase these again.

LEAKS
Lids aren't a very tight seal. If bottles somehow tip onto their side and you don't notice, whatever you had inside will leak out. Lost quite a bit of liquid matte medium because of these. Would not buy again. I've had far better success with the New Star Foodservice brand that you can find here on amazon.

Served it's purpose, but won't use again.
Appreciate the fact that the openings of the bottles are large, which makes them easy to fill with powdered dye and water. I did what another reviewer suggested and put plumbing tape around the edges before screwing on the tops. However, the red caps leak, even when holding them down. I had to take the red caps off and shake them by holding my finger over the hole. I do wish the hole was a little smaller. The dye came out faster than I would like and made it hard to control the flow (this lead to unintended bleeding of colors). The bottles served their purpose, but I will buy different ones for my next dye project.

They leak at the cap
Don't need to say much more. I purchased these a couple of years ago and only used a couple of the bottles. They leaked at the cap. You get done squirting olive oil or lemon juice and when you hold the bottle upright again there is a leak from under the cap. One of them I kept tightening the cap to stop the leak and eventually separated the threads from the top of the bottle. Stopped using them and replaced them with bottles from a local chef's equipment store but cost a great deal more. A couple of days ago I needed a new bottle and decided to use one of the bottles left over from my purchase. Same problem. Leak from underneath the cap. The first time I just shrugged it off. Second time around was irksome enough to write a review. As always, your mileage may vary.
