Beyond Beginner
I play but I don't get into all the 'ratings' stuff. I will say that this textured paddle is a favorite of mine. Solid center hits. Nice weighting and balance. But, more than all that, if your game includes cuts and spins, (for either fun or competitive challenge) you might want to give this a try. Heck, even if you're a top player it might be something to include as an option. My last one I used for over 3 years. It started to chip around the edging. I think the price allows a new one every few years.

Great for beginners, solid spin and power
My wife and I got hooked on pickleball after the first time we played, so I went online to look at different paddles. I finally decided on the fusion pro, which I thought was a graphite face when I bought it, however it is in fact fiberglass. That being said we still absolutely love it. I’m able to get some pretty solid spin and can also get some awesome power behind the ball too, but the short little tap shots are harder to do as the fiberglass adds a little more “pop.” Regardless, we are both very happy with this paddle as beginners. I’m sure as we continue playing and improve that we will want to move up in paddle performance, but these are perfect for quite a while.

Good inexpensive paddle but vibration a 10
I liked this paddle immediately when I tried my friends paddle. So, I bought one here on Amazon. I really like the feel of the grip and I like the length of the grip which is even better because the neck of the paddle is so narrow, I could choke up on the neck and hit a two handed backhand very comfortably. However, every time I used this paddle, my neck and shoulder would hurt very badly for days. I'm a pretty good player but am new to pickle, being an "A" level paddle tennis player. So, I play paddle 3x a week and no issue with neck/shoulder pain. So, it has to be this paddle. I like the power of this paddle but it's not worth the pain. So, I've switched to a higher end Paddletek pickle paddle and no pain. Strangely enough, I did get more power from this inexpensive Gamma paddle than what I'm getting from this 3x more expensive Paddletek paddle. They are both fiberglass surfaces so, it must be all the dampening layers of the Paddletek paddle. My husband used this paddle and didn't seem to get the pain I was so, maybe this just depends on each person. Overall, if you're a beginner, this seems like a good paddle.

Great paddle at any price
I actually teach pickleball at a really nice club have used numerous paddles. This paddle is one of the best feeling paddles I've hit. Hits hard has good top spin and very good touch. For the price it's much better than most of the $150 paddles.

My dad could not love this more!
My dad absolutely loves this paddle. While he’s newer to the game, he’s played with a few rackets. This one can create a lot of spin, is lightweight to east to maneuver and has a good size handle and paddle for beginners. It doesn’t perform like a beginner’s racket, though. He’s gotten a lot of compliments on the racket and his game.

A solid option for beginners
This thing has a huge sweet spot, and very few dead spots. I would not buy anything cheaper than this if you're looking to play regularly. Great entry level model.

Plays great
As I've just started playing pickle ball, perhaps I'm no the best judge of equipment. However, I've gotten a lot of complements on the quality of my game this first week, so I'll give some of the credit to the paddle. I love it.

Plays well, but hits hard
Fantastic paddle for someone who’s been playing for awhile or wanting a paddle that can launch the ball. I’ve been playing for awhile and this paddle is a lot different than others I have used. It is much stiffer and the slighted hit will send the ball pretty far. I enjoy it cause to send line drives right above the net takes very little energy. Was definitely a learning curve. It also has amazing texture for those who like to spin the ball. Would definitely buy again, especially for the price!!!
