Measy U2C-D Mini PC Holder Used for Mini PC, All in one Dock /Stand

Disclaimer: I'm a techie with electronics experience and purchased this to tinker around with so I'm writing this review from that viewpoint.I bought a U2C-D to use with a CX-919 Android Mini PC, and after a small modification to allow the rotating HDMI connector to rotate fully horizontal I have found it to be quite excellent.DISCLAIMER(I voided my warranty by opening mine up and lengthening the slot for the wires in the rotating plastic HDMI connector to allow for additional rotation. I have experience in doing this so it was easy. If you don't have experience in doing stuff like this then be warned: You can break your toys and it will make you sad.)END DISCLAIMERBuild quality is surprisingly good.The unit has a female HDMI port on the back to accept standard HDMI cables.The USB ports are well placed and spaced decently.The Micro USB and USB host plugs have ample wire length on them to handle plugging into nearly any mini PC.A full size SD card slot allows even more storage for your system and works well with my class 10 32GB card.Power switch is a great idea and works admirably on both the on and off modes. ;)This unit doesn't ship with a power supply: The assumption is that you already have a USB power supply that came with your Mini PC and that you will use that to power your system or you will bring your own, whichever the case may be.Having 2 power input ports is a great idea and adds versatility:One is a micro-USB and will accept the power from your mini PC's USB power supply if that is all you have to work with.The other power input is a small round coaxial DC connector similar to what is used on some powered USB hubs.I'm sorry I don't have the type or dimensions but it is center pin positive.I'm using this setup with an external hard drive that draws power through the USB port.The 2 amp supply that shipped with my mini PC seems to power everything without any problems, but it does make it run warm over time.I'm using a salvaged USB hub power supply that not only has a slightly higher current rating (2.4 amps as opposed to 2.0 amps) but has thicker gauge wires than the "inexpensively" produced Micro USB cable that shipped with my mini PC and uses the thicker coaxial power port on the U2C-D. This power supply runs absolutely cool.Your mileage may vary of course, but I wanted to share my experience.I have contacted the manufacturer and detailed the modification to the HDMI connector to them in hopes that they will apply it and make this product more directly usable with non-camera enabled mini PCs, but we'll see I guess.Overall I say if you want one get one. They are inexpensive, well made, useful and versatile.

After Ive had time to tweak this ill update this review but for now it just not that useful to me. If you purchase the mini pc it was designed for im sure it would work better but I bought a mini pc with more power.

I use this Measy U2C-D Mini PC Holder to hold an Android Mini PC. The front USB is perfect for my wireless mouse, or my wireless keyboard receiver. It gives a secure place to plug in the Mini PC and expand its capability and storage with the extra USB ports and SD card slot. I would recommend this mount to others wanting the expanded features.

Cheaply made. Didn't abuse or touch this docking station after mounting to the top of my large screen TV and it failed to work after 3 weeks. Does not have any proper labeling on the device as most electronic devices have such as UL, power ratings, model, MFG, etc... Excellent concept, and it did work well when it worked, but I and any other person needs RELIABILITY, AND consistent functionality.

Measy U2C-D Mini PC Holder works great for the purpose i bought it for- Use it to hold a RikoMagic Mini PC. I use the Mini PC as a media player on the family TV. Good holder lots of USB ports good bargain for under 20 dollars.

doesn't work but wished it did.. great idea!

Works as described. But for a dual core cpu, it is kind of slow to my expectation.
