You must use Induction compatible cooking pots and pans.
Excellent Hob. It's very powerful and reaches heat very fast, perhaps 30 seconds when used with my egg poacher and cooking time was 4 minutes. I use a Prestige Egg Poacher Pan. It also cools down fast after use. The onboard fan isn't to loud either. It wipes clean with a damp cloth The instructions could be better though. Quick run through to start using it. When powered you see an L. Signifying it's on Low power. Bottom right corner is the power icon. Press that and it all lights up. To the left of that is the Function key You have 10 seconds to hit the function key or it switches off Press the Function key to run through the cooking pre sets. Left to right.. Fry. Warm. Deep Fry. Boil. Steam and Soup. On the Left under the Warm.. Pre set is the Timer key. Tap this to set your desired cooking time. The time display alternates between the time and the Power level.. It's not broken. The timer can be set for 3 hours maximum. This is a game changer for me. I use a Ninja oven every day but it doesn't do poached scrambled or fried egg. It's large enough to be very useful and small enough to put away easily when not in use.

Great Induction Hob
Great hotplate, a light machine, with fast heating ability. Easy to clean and easy to use for long or short term cooking. Make sure to lower to heat so you don't burn your pan!

Quirky but does the job
If you’re used to normal built-in induction hobs, this one is a bit strange! You WILL need to read the manual! Instead of having on, off and + or - for heat levels, it has a bunch of different “functions” all with their own heat settings - and some of them automatically go up or down at certain times, so definitely check what it does before you set it. Personally I would prefer to just hit “on”, crank it to “7” and get on with it but I’m sure someone out there finds this style of setup helpful lol. Once you do get it going, it heats up very quickly and effectively and I’ve had no major problems with heat distribution. The surface is VERY slippery (although it’s getting less so over time) so make sure you’re holding the handle of any pot/pan you’re stirring! On the plus side, it’s very easy to clean any spills because of this. There’s a fan noise while on (which stops a minute or so after you stop cooking) and it also loudly bleeps if you lift the pan while it’s on, so not necessarily the best for quiet middle-of-the-night cooking. Honestly it does the job well and it was cheaper than other brands at the time I bought, but prepare to get to know and work around its quirks.

Ensure you understand how an induction hob works.
I have a 5-ring induction hob and wanted a low power 3-pin plug back-up hob in case of a power cut that can be powered by house batteries (or even a BEV that has V2L). The induction hob works perfectly fine considering it is rated at only 2kW. The power setting adjustments are in quite high steps, the beeps are very loud and the fan is a little noisy but other than that it’s a good single hob. Reading some of the negative views made me carefully think about purchasing this hob. However, it became obvious that one must be very wary of some of these negative 1-star reviews since there is a clear misunderstanding on how an induction hob works. (1) The hob doesn’t heat itself up (a magnetic field causes the pan to heat directly and the eventual hot pan conducts heat back to the hob surface), so no pan = no heat. (2) Placing a non-magnetic pan on it such as a common aluminium pan without a magnetic insert within the base will not work. If a magnet doesn’t adhere to the base of the pan, the pan is not suitable for an induction hob. If one can see error code E0 then it is a user error and not a hob error. A displayed error code E0 is that there is no pan or unsuitable pan on the hob, as clearly stated in the manual. I don’t work for the manufacturer, just exasperated that any ignorance of induction technology could lead to a misinformed purchase decision.

Hot spot overheating pans and burning food
This is a cheap induction hob. Some would say good value, and I suppose it is if you don’t mind it wrecking your cookware, and are not worried about not being able to cook at low heat without burning food because of the pulsing of induction power - don’t even think about porridge or scrambled eggs. Even thick soup and stews are a struggle. I suppose it might just be our one, but there seems to be a hot spot on the induction plate that overheats things and burns non stick frying pans and takes the enamel coating off the inside of an expensive whistling kettle. We have decided to buy a more expensive model that boasts denser induction coils and smoother power delivery. Let’s hope it works, otherwise we’ll go back to an ordinary hot plate.

I use this as my main cooking surface instead of ceramic. It's a great induction hob, has fine temperature control at lower temperatures. Feet aren't very grippy at the back.

This is a great little hot plate. It has plenty of power and works great if you have limited space in your kitchen.

Really great portable hotplate! Actually boils a huge pot of water way faster than my big stove inside my home. I cook the dog food outside and it is so fast! I just can't believe it! User friendly buttons too.

This works really well, but the main instructions on how to make it work really needs a disclaimer that the -L- flashing will only go away if you tap the power button then right away the function button. Trying to press power then the + to set the power to your desired temp will do nothing. So it's UI really isn't very intuitive. Which is why you see so many 1star reviews saying that it doesn't work and just stays with the flashing -L-
