In today’s green conscious world,Quick-Glo is the superior, non-toxic; eco-friendly cleaner originally invented in 1957 as a rust remover/metal polish. The original formula works great on hard surfaces such as, chrome, brass, stainless, sinks, glass and whitewalls. It works anywhere heavy oxidation or rust is present. Because Quick-Glo has no harmful fumes and does not require the use of gloves, it is the cleaner of choice among concerned consumers for use both in and outside the home. Because Quick-Glo is water based, with no need to break out the soap and bucket, there is no better choice for the driver-owner who needs to perform last minute touch-ups at the show to remove those stuck on bugs and road grime on their grill and chrome.. Quick-Glo’s use of pumice, instead of sand or other harsh medium used by the other companies, quickly breaks down to smaller and smaller sizes to gently allow for the polishing process during the cleaning and waxing phase. This clean, polish and wax, in a single application, is unique to Quick-Glo. The wax coating left behind, as a protective barrier, will protect the surface from future harm or oxidation for up to one year. Best of all, the consumer saves both time and money with fewer applications. In overall per application cost and application time comparisons, Quick-Glo is the stand alone WINNER.

As Seen on Jay Leno's Garage
I bought this on recommendation and show-and-tell success on a Jay Leno's Garage video. Proven formula over decades and decades, not unlike, say, Sea Foam cleaner. Stuff that works that well for that long is worth a shot. I didn't hesitate to pick it up as I was restoring a surface rust-riddled all chrome '77 Schwinn Super Le Tour. The rust on the Schwinn had its own topography, something that QuickGlo was not going to quickly knock down (mechanical > chemical solution in this case), but Quick-Glo was an integral part of cleaning, restoring, and protecting the frame. Anything less than mountain-range-like rust and this stuff took care of it with not much effort at all. Really happy about that. The Schwinn also had a 40-year built up glaze that the Quick-Glo helped cut through, revealing the true chrome finish below. Using a micro fiber cloth, it did not scratch the chrome (chrome is tough, but still, never want to see just how tough) and polished it up beautifully. Quick-Glo is pretty much odorless and is advertised as non-toxic. Good for small enclosed space work (apartments!) where there is no access to a large and ventilated garage. As always, your mileage may vary. For crazy built up rust, something like crumpled up aluminum foil and a car paint detailing spray work to knock out the big stuff with the Quick-Glo taking over from there. An effective 1-2 punch in that situation. My Schwinn looks stellar, and I am happy about the polish+protecting formulas in this product as well. I may not want to spend a ton of hours restoring a chrome bike or piece again, but I know if I have to, I have a good product to perform near miracles. And for the price, it's nearly impossible to go wrong.[Pictures are before (sad!) and after with new decals applied (beautiful!). From 3+ feet away, you pretty much can't see the 'scars' from 40 not-easy years of life. Sweet!]

What the manufacturer neglects to tell you
I never was able to use this product because it turned into liquid while in storage...making it absolutely worthless. I reached out to the manufacturer, which to their credit replied promptly. However, the reply I received confirmed that the product will indeed liquify if exposed to high humidity, or temperatures above 90 degrees. I live in Ohio and just came out of the winter and this stuff turned while sitting on my workbench I my garage. If you live in the south or in a warm climate this stuff is definitely a no go. Ended up throwing it away and buying some blue magic chrome cleaner instead. In short, there’s lots of good products out there with a more stable shelf life. I suggest purchasing any of them over this product. It’s like throwing money away.

No Gimmick It Really Works!
I was a little skeptical when I ordered this. How could a polishing paste remove rust from chrome surfaces? Especially my boat that had been exposed to salt water conditions. My dive ladder, some cleats, eyelets and chrome screws were rusted with lots of surface spotting and staining. I figured I would give it a try as my chrome looked terrible. Using a soft paper towel I simply dabbed some of the cream onto my dive ladder and gently rubbed for about 3 seconds and the rust came off as if it were surface dirt. I literally had to apply no pressure, didn't have to scrub and didn't have to let the paste sit on the rust. Like the karate kid, wipe-on wipe-off and done. It took me about 10 minutes to hit every rust spot on my boat and now my chrome looks showroom new. I highly recommend this stuff. It works and it is great.

Its OK, but didn't meet the hype in my opinion.
After some immpressive video's about this product (incl Jay Leno's Garage) I wanted some to work on the handlebars of a 45 year old motorcycle I'm working on. The rust wasn't that bad. I prepped it well with mild degreaser (simple green). Made sure all the degreaser was rinsed away well. Frankly that took away most of the powdery surface rust. There was some pitting I knew Quick Glo wouldn't "remove", but I thought it would clean out the pits of the rust color. Nope. It did make the chrome that was left look better, but the minor pitting is left untouched and quite a bit of contrast to the now shiny remaining chrome. I realize nothing is going to remove the pitting, but I had hoped it would dearest the pitting. It didn't, but I understand there is some wax in this product, so it may hold back the re-rusting.. A rust remover may have.

IT WORKS GREAT!!!
This stuff worked great I did my front and rear bumper and they look brand new. It took the rust spots right off with ease and shined them up. I emailed the company to see if this will work on ABS plastics with triple chrome coating, I'm still waiting for a reply back. One thing I'm going to do that nobody else has done in their review is a follow up with how many months it lasts before having to re-apply. I just applied it in April 6 2017 and I will do a follow up.Update: It's been over a month and still looks great. I never got a reply back to my question using this product on triple chrome ABS plastics. I will give further updates and may test my question to give the answer in the coming monthsUpdate 2: It's July 22nd 2017 and it still looks like the day I put it on GREAT!!!Update 3: it's January 14th 2018. My bumper still looks fantastic. This stuff is Amazing. My Last Update: It's March 10th 2018. It's been 11 months. My bumper still looks fantastic NO RUST. This stuff is the real deal. It's plain and simple it just WORKS!! I haven't tested it on triple chrome plated ABS (plastics) trim yet only because I don't have any rust on my door handles or tail gate handle yet. But overall you will not find a better product on the market then Quick-Glo.Here's a tip for car enthusiast to remove surface rust from cars paint use a wet magic eraser it comes off like nothing without damaging the paint then touch up with touch up paint.

Got rid of marks, but left the finish dull.
Not sure what kind of miracle I was expecting, but the chrome finish seems to have dulled after applying this product. The rust spots are definitely gone and the chrome looks much cleaner, but the reflective mirror-like shine is now gone and a dull reflection is left. I've tried buffing and using other products afterwards but to no avail. This is definitely the "heavy duty" version. Likely, I should have started with the "Light" version and moved up to this one.

this stuff is amazing!!
this stuff is amazing!!! I can polish my chrome exhausts after each winter and from carb build up so easily with little effort. I recommend this for everyone that has chrome or polished finishes that they want to keep looking like new.
