Best album thus far from Red!

I've been a fan of the band since End of Silence. That album is pretty great and I was hooked instantly. I would have to say that Red has been a little inconsistent with their albums. Innocence and Instinct was ok, not great. Ordinary World was phenomenal on that one, though! Release the Panic was absolute trash. Gone was good, for the most part. Of Beauty and Rage was an absolute masterpiece! Best album by Red. Declaration is right up there with End of Silence and Of Beauty and Rage. These albums in my opinion have more of a darker sound with some slight ambiance and atmosphere, which is killer. The songs on the album sound more serious, if that makes sense. I feel like a lot of work/thought went into these albums and it shows!!! If I'm not mistaken, Dan is now a full-time member of Red and I think it shows in his drum work on this album! With all that being said, this album is really great. Hard hitting and high quality songs with no filler. Get this album immediately!!

Gotta say saw them at jergles and got a signed copy of red gone but didn’t care for it. So I was on the fence about getting it. But got this album. Gone was thier worst album but then bam Killed it was great album beginning to end. For them their heaviest album to date.

Red is back and better than ever! Declaration is a perfect mix of End of Silence and Innocence & Instinct. The album is heavy and melodic at the same time; a perfect mix of anger and melody. This is the kind of stuff Red does best. When they parted ways with their record company, I was worried we might not get any more music from them, but they came back with this self-produced album and not only does it freaking rock, but it's some of the best stuff they've released since Until We Have Faces! Do yourself a favor and buy this album. A must-have for Red fans and will definitely please any metal fans too. Standout tracks are All for You, Infidel, Cauterize, The War We Made, The Evening Hate, Sever, and From The Ashes.

While I own every Red album to date, this one takes a swift kick to your eardrums while leavimg your head ringing from Barnes signature growls. The band didn't hold back on giving their fans a pure metal endeavor as well as their known orchestral symphonies. I for one love this type of element to their range, but this album could be a lttle mich for a new listener of the bands. Don't get me wrong, the album is pure chaos and that is what I enjoy the most about Red. A must have for any Red follower. Great album!

I've always liked Red, but the last two albums have been solid all the way through, which is something the band lacked before, in my opinion. I'm a big fan of Pieces, Not Alone, Best Is Yet to Come, and So Far Away, so if that's mostly the Red you're looking for, this is more of the metal-leaning sound, but overall that's what I prefer from them. This digipak (soft cd case) is such an exception via their album cover. Michael Barnes hits his most hungriest vocals in this album. There is so much sway between, what appears to be, the internal fight we all face inside. The Armstrong brothers do an amazing job too. Red has done it with Declaration. Drummer, Dan Johnson, disperses good quality the whole album. Thank you Rob Graves for producing such an astonishing part of music! Rock on & God bless!
