Q: How long does this could keep for hot water; i don't like the "4 hours logner than others", it's irresponsible description

I have had ice last 24 hours in the bottle when I casually drink form it and about 10-12 when I have to refill it consistently. I only use it for water and it does a great job even when in the summer heat

Q: Can it fit into a cup holder for car or golf cart?

It will not fit in a standard vehicle cup holder.

Q: Is the white one shiny or mat?

I don’t know. If I had to guess, I’d say it would be a mat finish. Please be aware, the finish on these bottles is very thing and WILL scratch easily. Also, the bottle will dent rather easily too. I’ve had my bottle for a few weeks and it looks like I’ve had it for years. With all that said, I love this bottle. It keeps my drink cold for hours.
