Nice product for the price. See review for some tips
I just finished installing these in seven of our kitchen cabinets as icing on the kitchen remodel cake. Really tired of getting down on the floor to pull out the heavy mixer or juicer from the back in the bottom of a dark cabinet. Pros: Nice chrome finish and fairly sturdy. I would have preferred the Rev-A Shelf birch wood units but too expensive for our budget. These are reasonable in comparison. Assembly of the unit is about 10 minutes. Cons: Installation took a couple hours for the first one. Maybe 20-30 minutes for each additional unit. Some things were not obvious. See tips below. Several assembly screws easily snapped off. Glad there were extras. My experience: The units are 1/2" smaller than the cabinet opening. I ordered for an 18"w cabinet opening and the unit is 17.5"w. That allows for clearance for protruding door hinges. The instructions said to mount the unit away from the door hinges (off center in the cabinet) which leaves a 1/2" gap on the hinge side. That side just stands in the air unattached or anchored. Being off center bothered me. I would need to add some kind of blocking to move the units to a centered position. In my case I also ordered the door mounts to convert the doors from hinged to a pull out configuration. That's where my confusion started. The door mount brackets were off center from the doors position directly below the drawer because the units were installed off center. I didn't have enough door frame to mount the door that off center. There are round discs (spacers) included with the door mount bracket kits that will allow you to move the brackets left or right but it looked odd to me. I realized that I could use the round discs (spacers) to center the whole unit by using the spacers in between the unit frame and the door frame on either side. The four spacers provided at the four front anchor points. I had to provide longer screws to make this work. The result was a centered unit in the cabinet opening with a centered door pull. See pictures of the spacer positions. Tips: 1. Hand tighten the assembly screws. They snapped easily with a screw gun, even with the drag set low. 2: If you are installing the door brackets (separate kit) use the spacers to center your unit in the cabinet opening rather than off center. See pictures 3: Install the drawers so that you are sure the brackets that attach to the back of the cabinet are truly parallel and won't bind the drawer slides. Mark the holes, remove the drawers and mount the rear brackets. Then attach the unit to the bottom/base with the four screws provided. 4: Mounting the door to the brackets: Attach the brackets to the bottom drawer. Tighten the screws just until the brackets stay in place but can still move if pushed with some force. Apply the the double stick tape to the bracket faces. Pull the drawer slightly so that it just sticks out beyond the cabinet face. Line up the door panel under the drawer face right to left and also the door top down from the bottom of the drawer face. Press firmly in toward the brackets so that the brackets adjust from the pressure and the double stick tape adheres to the door panel.. Carefully open the door/drawer and attach the screws. Note: The instructions said to face the brackets outward. This did not work for our doors so we turned them inward.

Best Purchase for deep Kitchen Cabinets
My wife and I are in our 70s and live in a 55+ apartment community. The kitchen cabinets in the apartment are 22 inches deep with many of the food shelves from waist height down to just above floor level. Trying to find things on these deep shelves was a pain... literally. When clearing the shelves to install the organizers, we discovered that over time, we purchased a lot of food that we already had but couldn't see or get to it easily. I purchased one 15"x22" single level pull-out shelf as a "trial unit" and installed it. The rear mounting screws were a bit challenging for me to install because of the depth of the cabinet but it was well worth the effort. The organizer is extremely well built and the shelf glides in/out smoothly even when fully loaded. I was so impressed with the quality and ease of use that I immediately ordered 3 more units for the other cabinet shelves. We love these pullout shelves and don't know how we managed without them. Well worth the price and effort to install. Highly recommend.

Upgrade for my kitchen
When I built my previous home they kitchen was loaded wit pull out shelves. Fast forward to my retirement home and while the kitchen is nice the cabinet storage is basic. I dreamed of pull-outs but custome ones were beyond my reno budget. Thought I would try these. This was #8 of the Rev-A-Shelf brand and the only one that is a single tier. I was afraid would lose too much space in my cabinets because they are not a perfect fit. I have actually gained space. Everything is in the cabinets and easily accessible and I have one cabinet still empty - unheard of for me. They have been easy for me to install and I am not much of a DIY'er. The first one took me a while and resulted in a few bruises from crawling in the cabinet but they are installed, very sturdy and slide smoothly. (One exception. I received one with the soft close brackets and still have not been able to get the basket to work. The shelves work so well that I don't need the soft close) One suggestion. The directions tell you to assemble the unit and place it in the cabinet, them finagle around to get the for screws installed. I am short and could not reach over the basket or through the wires to attach the screws and I do not have fancy tools that make life easier. I removed the basket and screwd in the back two screws. Then replaced the basket and pull it out to do the front two screws. Made life much easier.

Great shelf; highly recommend
Drawer pulls completely out and glides smoothly. It took me more than 5 minutes to install but I don’t usually do these kinds of things. Instructions are simple and easy to understand.

Great for for convenience of getting to items
I have several Rev-A-Shelf pull outs. I love that(even though I’m short) I do not have to lean into the cabinet to get things off the shelf. My cabinets are awful and this really helped with efficiency. I lose a little space because my cabinets have a center stile but it’s still way better being able to conveniently place things on the slide outs. It would be great if they had more sizes. As you can see in the pictures I had to add a block to the face frame to fill a gap. These are super sturdy and the rails are really nice. My one complaint is that I will have to change out the screws that go into the face frame because they are not low enough profile for the rails to clear completely. Not sure why the company did not use a flatter screw. There is a small amount of drag against the rails from these screws. I will still buy more for my remaining cabinets but will purchase different wood screws to eliminate this problem.

Very Sturdy
These pull out shelves are awesome! Both shelves pull out all the way and the top shelf has three different heights that you can use. They are very well made and are easy to install. Just be sure to check all the measurements before you order.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!
These Rev-A-Shelves are absolutely amazing! I started with one and now have a total of nine. There is no way you can organize a kitchen cabinet like you can with these pull-out shelves/drawers. Without these shelves, stacks of bowls, pans, condiments, cans, etc. will fall over. Also, items get lost in the back of dark, deep cabinets. These Rev-A-Shelves are deeper/have higher sides than some other makes/models, thus allowing for better organizing where items stay in place. For the shelf under my kitchen sink, I put a plastic basket in the Rev-A-Shelf to hold house chemicals. This way, if there should be a leak, it will stay in the basket and not leak through the wire shelf. And for my pantry, this shelf is big: 24’ x 22. I also put another plastic basket (about ¼ the size of the pull-out shelf) to separate smaller items (Jello, condiments, etc.) from larger items such cans, etc. TWO HUGE factors to check when looking at other makes/models: the Rev-A-Shelf brand shelves have FULL EXTENSION. All the others have ½ or 2/3 pull-out extension. This is not enough and allows for wasted space in the back of your pull-out shelf. Also, the WEIGHT LIMIT is 100 lbs. I think it would be rare that you would have anything that weighs anywhere near 100 lbs, but this lets you know the quality and stamina of the way these are built. These shelves come packaged extremely well with lots of packing/styrofoam, they are built solid, are heavy and great quality. They are lubricated and roll in and out of the cabinet VERY SMOOTHLY. If you can’t find the exact size of the shelf you need and are tempted to look at other brands-- DON’T! These shelves are worth losing an inch as opposed to buying another brand to get an exact fit. Sometimes when you order items like these, there are screws missing or the screws aren't the best size. All the screws for all these 9 shelves were included and are the perfect size. No need to buy any other size screw. Here is Rev-A-Shelf’s website showing the various sizes: https://rev-a-shelf.com/2558? This makes it easier to see the all the sizes they make. Then you can take the model number of the shelf you like and plug it into Amazon’s website. Some of these were received a day or two after the actual due date, but not a big deal at all. Rev-A-Shelf communicated the delays. If the due date was a month out, it would absolutely be worth the wait. Nope- I don’t work for Rev-A-Shelf and I did not receive any of these shelves in exchange for a review. Just started with one to organize my 2-ft deep pantry and saw how amazing these pull-out shelves are! You can actually fit more in a cabinet/pantry with these shelves than without. The ONLY two specs to look at if comparing other brands: 100% FULL EXTENSION AND WEIGHT LIMIT OF 100 LBS!
