Glick's Greenhouse Live Succulent Planter DIY Kit Live Plants Included (Small, White Wash)

In Southeastern PA Glick’s Greenhouse has an excellent reputation for quality plants and I have purchased many things there over the years. So, when I was thinking about a gift idea, these planters caught my eye. There are perfect gifts for birthdays, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Easter, or any occasion. You can give them as the kit or as the assembled planter (although if you give the kit you would have to unpack the live plants and give them water and light until you gave the gift). They would also be adorable on a kitchen or bathroom windowsill or outdoors on a sheltered deck or patio. I now have mine on the kitchen windowsill and plan to move it outdoors onto our covered deck once the weather gets warmer.I ordered these on a Sunday afternoon and they were shipped promptly the next day; I even received them on Tuesday. They were packed very well with recyclable materials and everything arrived in perfect condition. A card with complete instructions was included in the box. The directions were easy to follow and it didn’t take long until I had my perfect succulent planter together and ready to go.These would be relatively easy for children to make, too; I’m guessing that with some help children 6 and older could put these together without destroying the plants, and children 9 or 10 and older could probably do it with just some adult supervision, as long as they treated the plants gently. I am always looking for small craft projects to do with my grandsons and these would work well for that.The six small succulents that are included with the kit look exactly as shown in the photos. They were in excellent condition upon arrival and the assortment looks very cute in the planter. I love the different colors and textures of the plants, too.The pot that comes with the kit is described as “cement” although it was actually much more decorative than I think of with the word cement. It is heavy and well-made and wouldn’t blow over if you wanted to use your assembled planter in a sheltered location outdoors (as long as the plants don’t get too much water). The wooden heart is on a piece of twine and can be removed completely, or replaced with any small decorative ornament that can be put on a string. You could change this decoration with the seasons, if desired.All-in-all, I highly recommend this kit, for yourself or to give as a gift. It is excellent quality, easy to assemble, and adorable when completed.

Purchased this as a gift and was happy when it arrived. I was a little reluctant to buy this because I was afraid the plant would arrive dead or the planter broken. I'm glad I ordered because it arrived in great condition. The planter was actually better looking in person vs the pictures. The plant looked healthy as well. Of course when this is shipped the original box (with all contents) is then put in an Amazon box. The box with the plant and planter were really well packed and secured. It probably could've been shipped that way and it would've been ok.

I gifted this for my best friend, she is new into plants so I felts succulents was great way to start. It came exactly as the picture with 6 baby succulents all of them different, perfect amount of soil and the vase was pretty and sutil. She love it!

Ordered this as a gift to a friend in mourning. She loves to garden so I love that she could use her hands and maybe get some therapy through gardening. Succulents are easy to care for.The package arrived in great condition. Plants were all healthy. The bowl was a little smaller than I anticipated (I didn’t check measurements before ordering), but it was adorable just like the item picture and I was completely satisfied with my purchase.

Such a fun, spectacular and creative way to engage the garden inner spirit. This was just the right level of simplicity for my 3 year old grandson to enjoy.
