I use these to hang my Hammock tent. Its a tent that can be set up on the ground or as a hammock. I weigh 235 lbs. A a larger person the steel rings, and clips are a huge plus. They do not damage the trees which is something so few of us consider when hanging our hammocks the avid environmentalist should be quite pleased with this system. I replaced my 3/4 inch nylon webbing with these straps. It was such a pain having to wrap around the tree 10 times and then using the S clips and then having to readjust the straps because of stretching every morning, you know when the hammock 4 feet off the ground, then when you woke only 6 inches, yeah no more of that pain. These are handy, functional, light weight, durable and practical. I recommend these to anyone who knows the joys and sorrows of camping from a hammock..

I really like these hammock straps. They came in a little drawstring bag which is perfect for transporting and storing them in. They are so convenient and very easy to set up and use. As for the quality of the material I'm quite impressed. They are extremely well made and are equal to that of car seat belts straps so they won't give or stretch under the weight they are holding. They can safely hold up to 600lbs. They also come with two heavy duty carabiners that have safety locks on them to prevent any accidents from happening.
