These work just as stated. I really like them they keep the bread fresh and stop the occasional mishap from crushing the loaf

I tried a few before I landed on these. The lid stays well so that the bread stays fresher. We are all about making the food last. They were compact for my refrigerator shelves. I did have to angle the slices of the wider loaf of bread. The regular loaf of bread (think Wonder Bread) fit perfectly. I like that you can slide the bread bag down and the slices up so that they are easy to reach.

I saw this product on a Crazy Russian Hacker video on YouTube and decided to buy it. I’m really glad that I did. We are a family of four and we go through bread quickly and also the kids sometimes would not properly tie the bread bags and the bread would go stale at a faster rate. This product solves that problem. By making it so easy to get the bread slices out and seal the bread back up, our bread is lasting longer and it’s much more convenient than using zip ties or tying the bag.This product isn’t perfect and the issues are not really a problem for us because we typically buy square bread but wider bread fits so tightly that the pulling down to bring the slices up function was kind of stiff and hard to do. Also this really only fits American square bread. If you primarily buy wide bread it may not fit or be too tight to fully utilize the features.Another slight downside is that this product is very tall and may not fit upright in your pantry. We have to lay the product on its side. Due to the height of this product, after you get a few slices from it.. there is so much empty space, you almost wish it could be resized.That being said, I don’t regret this purchase at all. Our family loves this product and none of us want to return to tying bread bags.

I think I remember something close to this design many years ago, thought I’d give it a try. I like that comes in a set of 2, very convenient - Some loaves of bread come in a bread bag, which barely fits over the lip of the container, need to remember when taking bread out to gently/slowly pull the bag slowly down the outside of the container standing in end, to continuously lift the loaf higher/closer to the open end which the cover pops on, to keep your bread fresh - I needed to learn to place it over the drain hole of my kitchen sink so the open holes in the bottom helps to slide the loaf up with airflow - then it starts making sense how it keeps the bread fresh. I bought some bread bags to make my own bread & my next loaf, I plan to transfer the next loaf into one of those bags to try in these loaf-keepers, to see if the bags are slightly larger around to make pulling it down over the outside of this container easier, so as to not tear the bag from pulling it too tight…I like this a lot.

I was buying bread 1 every 2 weeks. Now 1 loaf will last over a month no molding!! Buy it well worth the money!!!

I HAD ONE OF THESE YEARS AGO AND IT FINALLY BROKE OR SOMETHING I DON'T REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED TO IT! BUT IT'S ONLY ME IN THE HOUSE AND MY BREAD MOLD BEFORE I CAN GET HALFWAY DOWN THROUGH. SO I DECIDED TO GET THIS ONE AGAIN AND TRY IT AND SEE IF THE BREAD WILL NOT MOLD AS FAST. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED TO SEE THIS WAS ON AMAZON CUZ I HADN'T SEEN ONE IN YEARS.. IT'S VERY SIMPLE TO USE AND IT DOES KEEP YOU BREAD FRESH.. SO HOPEFULLY I CAN GO THROUGH I KNOW FOR BREAD WITHOUT MOLDING BEFORE I GET HALFWAY DOWN THROUGH IT...

Sturdy plastic but the lid does not fit tightly popping off when moving. Holds a full standard loaf of bread but hard to keep fresh when the lid pops off and leaks air. The older bread buddies were better quality.
