Hereford Canned Corned Beef, 12 oz

Tasty treat. Not just Tasty Meat.

I bought Hereford canned corn beef for years, but this is NOT the same stuff. It came packed in slime. Usually, there was some white fat on the top that denotes canned corned beef. This stuff looked exactly like dog food... it didn't smell, taste or shred ANYTHING like canned corned beef. What the F* did I buy??? It is the same exact package as shown above. I won't even feed this to my animals. So the other 3 tins are going right where they belong.... INTO THE GARBAGE!!!

This corned beef is not the same Hereford corned beef that comes in the round cans. I made the mistake of buying this kind. It comes from Brazil. It has a completely different texture and is not nearly as tasty. Buy it only if your budget allows you to buy the cheapest of meats.

I love the corned beef, however the last 3 times I used it, the key to open the can broke off and I tried for over 30 minutes to dig the meat out! Can opener did not work and this time, I sliced my thumb bad, blood everywhere! Can you change the way you open the cans ???

I love this meat, they had it in stores years ago, I bought it all the time then boom it’s no longer Available, now it’s on here for double the price in store, and a Ridiculous price for shipping, I wish you would come off the price and the shipping, it was $ 3.99 in the stores.I don’t like the one with the key you got to use to open, it’s like pure mush, or someone’s throw up. Yuk ! I have a child with special needs and a very Picky eater, but loved this product. I wish they would bring it back to the stores.

Usually use Libby's canned corned beef which, I feel is a very good product. Saw this product and decided to try it. HORRIBLE PRODUCT doesn't even resemble corned beef. It's more like some meat smoothed together with a lot of fillers. I couldn't eat it and neither would my dog! DISGUSTING!!

I, too, was put off by the different texture and appearance of this product, until I realized its value in many places where the corned beef with which I have been more familiar . . . just doesn't work. This is great for slicing for a sandwich or similar purpose, and with a slightly milder flavor, can be combined with other ingredients that might be overwhelmed by the stronger flavor of the more common product.I first bought it by accident, and let remaining cans sit for a while after the first one surprised me, but now that I've found uses for it I'm disappointed that I can't find it at a reasonable price.
