Makes quick work of your staining project
Wow!! I just finished staining my deck yesterday and purchasing this deck brush was the best idea! It’s so easy to use- just screw it on to the end of a paint stick and do your whole project standing up. I was using solid stain and it worked well. I will say I had done the edging between the boards by hand first so I can’t speak to whether or not this was able to push between but the coating of the top was a breeze. It was the simple motion of mopping but with stain. Definitely worth the price. The brush is good quality and the bristles stayed in tact. High quality brush!

I could not have stained the deck without this brush.
My wife and I cleaned and stained our deck last summer after receiving a bid of $5800. I bought the brush after trying pads and rollers that did not hold enough paint. The brush with its closely packed bristles took up the paint and released it with no streakiness. As Minnesota moss attacked several areas after a wet winter and spring of 2025, I had to clean and re-stain those areas during the recent July 4 weekend. The brush did the job and has been lovingly placed in its box for 2026. Addendum - be sure to buy a stainless steel dog/cat comb to keep the bristles separate after cleaning them with soapy water..

Fast and smooth application
This brush is a game changer. Did a 40' x18' deck with solid stain in a little over 2 hours without the backache. This brush holds a huge amount of stain and goes on smooth. Looks like a spray finish. Holding so much product it does have a tendency to drip, but once you get the technique of turning the bristles up before getting to where you need to stain your off to the races! Never lost one bristle either, amazing.

Great Brush; Handle Hole for a Pole is Too Narrow
First the positives: Super brush for apply stain to a deck. The brush is just the correct width for dealing with one plank at a time. The bristles do a great job of getting the stain into the cracks. And the bristles are strong enough to hold up under use. I deducted one star because the pole-hole in the plastic pole-holder handle attached to the brush was too small for any wooden pole that I have. And these are standard poles; nothing special. Luckily, I had a long, skinny aluminum pole that fit into the handle hole with enough space to screw in a couple of screws to wedge between the pole and the plastic handle holder to hold the handle firmly in place. Fortunately the handle is very strong plastic and did not crack. A little duct tape to finish off the job, and the setup has been working fine.

Best tool for deck staining
This deck brush makes deck staining a breeze; worth the investment. Best to use a hand brush close to siding to protect it from splatter. Work goes quicker and coverage quality is better than cheaper application tools; just careful not to overload the brush with excess stain to prevent stain from running down sides of deck. Brush gets stain in between deck boards very well. Easy cleanup with soapy water and wire brush for repeat use. Did not find a deck brush in stores.

Works Perfectly
I rarely write reviews. But when I was looking for a brush to stain my deck, I read so many reviews for many of these brushes. The were cheaper ones that had good reviews, but the also had reviews where they fell apart. This one was more expensive, but I bought it anyway. I am so glad I did. Worked flawlessly. Made staining my decks so much easier and faster. I would purchase this one again in a heart beat.

Saved at least an Hour
I got this after searching for a brush to use for staining my deck. I ended up having someone do it that was experienced. He told me when he was done he learned that this brush probably saved him at least an hour by not using a roller and then having to use a brush to get in between the boards. It cleaned up easily too. Happy I found it.

Works well, far better than a roller.

Nice fine, long and silky bristles Used to stain cedar decks. The brush holds a good amount of stain. I use a very light consistency stain and this brush works great, really works on the back brushing. No effort in cleaning water-based stains. I do a final step, rubbing glycerin soap into the bristle ends to ensure they stay clean. Shake out excess water and stand on flat edge. Dries overnight. Bristles get into any wear points I want to treat. Great brush...worth the price.

Perfect for staining floorboards! Completed a 40m2 room in an hour or so, much better than sponges, attaches to pole easily and saved my back!
