Del Monte FRESH CUT HARVEST SELECTS Green Lima Beans Canned Vegetables, 12 Pack, 8.5 oz Can

Now that we are empty nesters I love the small cans for two.

--Ingredients are listed, (lima beans, water, sea salt, calcium chloride)--Size is listed ( 8.5 ounces)Pay attention before buying, folks!I bought these 8.5 ounce cans of lima beans primarily because of their size. Typical cans of veg and other canned goods are around 15 ounces. While I can usually manage the regular size cans, I just rarely buy canned lima beans since I dont eat much of those at once. I thought the price at the time of purchase was reasonable for the case of smaller cans (I bought on sale, and I dont factor price into rating)DelMonte also has the typical sized cans if that is more your thing.

Happy to find smaller size cans available, a pantry staple.

I am a single guy who quite often ~but not every day~ eat meals prepared with healthy foods. When I am doing my thing in the kitchen, I refuse to open a 15 ounces can of any vegetable. It is because I use half of it, and the other half ends up in the refrigerator which is not to say that I will use it in a meal the day following.The good guys at 'Del Monte' offer a few vegetables in small cans which I can use in one meal with NO LEFT OVERS in the fridge.These 'Green Lima Beans' are an example of the right size to use in one meal; and to make it a lot better, they are loaded with healthy nutrients. I only wish that 'Del Monte' wakes up to smell the coffee and realizes that there must be lots of single guys out there who want NO LEFT OVERS in the fridge.

They are small cans.

Pay attention to size this in mini cans. Not worth the price.

I grew up eating this brand of Lima beans and it’s one of my favorite vegetables I like the small cans because my family doesn’t share my love for these beans. Also, my local grocery stores don’t carry canned Lima beans at all and I actually prefer the flavor to frozen.
