Flash Cards- Shape and Color Practice

I absolutely love these cards! Iam trying to teach my 21 month old son his shapes and colors. These cards are made on a durable card stock type material, with the name of the color, the shape and the color itself. The colors are nice and bright. The best part is that each color has each shape! So, for example, it is not just a red square. There will be a red square, circle, triangle, oval, diamond and rectangle! (Each color has those 6 specific shapes) This is great for teaching him his first shapes and wonderful for learning colors. The colors that are included in this pack are black, blue, brown, green, orange, purple, red, white and yellow. It does not have pink, which I feel is a pretty common color but seeing as I have a son it isn't a big deal, haha! (Although he does seem to really like pink, hehe) Overall, I'm very satisfied with the quality, bright colors and love this educational tool for my toddler! I would recommend this for baby's / toddlers 1 to maybe 4 or 5 years of age. * I also purchased the "My first words" and the "Alphabet" flash cards from this same company and they are wonderful too!

I use these flashcards every day in my toddler classroom (ages 1½–2 years old), and they’ve quickly become one of our favorite learning materials! What I really love is how versatile they are. During circle time, we use them as a group activity—holding up a card and asking, “Who can find the circle?” or “What color is this?” The children get so excited to call out answers or point to the matching color in the room. They also work beautifully in small groups or one-on-one with a teacher for extra reinforcement. The durability is a big plus. Toddlers can be rough, but these cards have held up to lots of grabbing, bending, and even drool without tearing. They’re easy to wipe clean too, which is important in a busy classroom. I’ve noticed a real improvement in my toddlers’ ability to identify colors and shapes since using these flashcards regularly. I teach preschool and I have a student that LOVES flashcards! These were perfect and she loved them!!!!

Colors/Shapes: I guess for $3 it's okay (3/5 stars) I bought these color/shape cards for my baby. Have to say I was disappointed in the quality even if it was $3. The coloring on all of them are very fuzzy and cheap. I don't know why they can get the words colored perfectly meanwhile the shapes are sloppily pasted on the cards. Cards are also very thin and came slightly curved. I do not have a problem with either of those two but it is worth noting. It was an OK purchase for a 2 year old but I would not buy this product again. Numbers: No complaints! (5/5 stars) The cards are very nice with a simple design. Like the color/shape cards, these cards are thin and also came slightly bend in the middle. Alphabet: Great cards! (4/5 stars) I like the cards very much. The drawings are very cute and easy to recognize. Like the above cards, these cards are also thin and curved. My only complaint is the word choices for some words. For example, they used "valentine" and "vulture" for V. What baby needs to know what a Valentine is? I thought "toucan" for T was also an odd word choice. But other than that, I have no other complaints! Great cards and my baby loves them. :)

My 2 year old loves using these flash cards. It simply works. These are made out of hard paper and are not laminated in any way. So, if you have children that likes to nibble on things or if you spill water on these, they will absorb moisture and tear easily. Other than that, these cards have made it simple and fun to teach my son. At first, I thought it would be too complicated for a 2 year old. I mean, shapes and colors? But after a few sessions of laying each card on the ground and saying it, my 2 year old caught on. Now, he will point to random things (at the store, at the mall, at home, etc) and tell me the shape and color... Thank you for making me look like a good dad!

Haven't been able to get my toddler to sit down with these yet without tearing them. So many different cards to help learn shapes and colors! Love that they come in a box for easy storage.

This item is lots of fun for children (and adults!). It is definitely value for money as the quality of the material is great, you get a huge variety of colours and shapes for various games such as "snap," labeling and matching activities. The card is perfectly strong in thickness. They keep children well entertained with their multiple uses. The colours are very eyecatching too, which is great! Everything is still in perfect, working order despite multiple uses. The items work as expected, every time, without fail. The items arrived on time, very well packaged. I highly recommend these cards!
