Surprisingly sturdy
I live in the mountains of East TN and bought this awning three years ago as a temporary covering over my front door. I honestly didn't expect it to last through the first winter snow. I am pleased to say it has latest thru TWO winters plus some very intense winds whipping through your little valley. It hasn't really faded or anything, just a little dirty. I have been so pleasantly surprised AND I was so easy to put together and install too!

Just what I needed
I am ready to buy 2 more. The regular prices for awnings are crazy. This is just the right price and does just what I need and look very sleek on my house. The shading for me was perfect t, didn't want to itt dark or too light.Btw it was very easy to put together and install as well.

Light weight and mostly easy to assemble and install
Way to assemble with exception to the panels. They fit very snuggly and need some extra effort to install without damaging. Once installed it works well and is attractive. Installation hardware could be better although work for the application

Awning installation tips: solid vs. hollow walls
This awning is made of durable hard plastic and requires assembly. The assembly process is easy, but the most challenging part is attaching the awning to the wall. The included screws are designed for solid walls, so you’ll need to check whether your wall is solid or hollow. If it’s hollow, you’ll need to use different screws. Since the awning is made of lightweight plastic, the screws can hold it securely in place once properly installed.

Cheap materials but does what it needs to to well
It’s all plastic but it gets the job done. Needed it to cover an AC unit and it has already survived a couple of big storms.

Oh my word. Works but wow….not fun to install~
This works, but is not easy to install. We got a longer version so don’t know if that factors in to it (?).We fought with it for a few hours before it would bend into the right place. It helps with shade and keeping water off of our pergola bar top (we live in a very rainy area). It hasn’t undergone any severe storms yet so we will update as needed.Just know that you need to take your time and most likely will need to apologize post-op to your significant other for all the cussing & foul frustration.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Overall this was easy to assemble. Serves it's purpose. However the bolts that they included were not adequate. I ended up having to buy lag bolts.
