StroopsToner Resistance Band

This is a heavy duty band that feels great in the grip and provides that extra protection against band snapping. I think they are worth the extra investment over non covered rubber bands.

I was looking to replace my medium-strength resistance cord from Gaiam, and was thinking I was ready to step it up from medium to hard. So I bought the medium (red) and hard (blue) strengths of cord from this manufacturer. Well, they were MUCH harder than the ones I was used to from Gaiam, so I went ahead and got this light (yellow) one until I get strong enough to move on! This cord is extremely well made, with a covered cord. The handles are not cushioned, as the ones in the other strengths are, but that's a minor quibble. I look forward to doing my workouts with this strength and stepping it up as I get stronger! The cord is a length that allows me to do the workouts on the DVD from Gaiam (though I wasn't sure at first, because the medium strength one was so HARD!), if you're familiar with that. If you're not, some of the exercises have you standing on the center of the cord and pulling one or both sides up over your head, and other exercises have you using the cord folded in half and stretching it arms' width. I hope that gives you some idea of how far this cord stretches. Have fun and be safe!

My personal trainer recommended these for home use and now I know why. I had searched all the many bands on Amazon and these are terrific. They are covered in cloth with sturdy handles and and give me a good workout. I bought several with different weights. These are much better quality than some of the bands in my gym. Def recommend.

Really helpful for your workouts at home or to take it with you on holidays wherever you go. Light, resistant and beatifully made, it won't disappoint you at all!

I use resistance bands almost exclusively for lateral deltoid raises (both arms to the side while standing on the band) to get a solid burn and toning in between sets with dumbbells. My gym has a few, but they can be notoriously difficult to find, or suspiciously absent altogether. I had asked the crew what the resistance pounds were on the red ones, but no one could provide a reasonable response, so I had to kinda guess. I purchased a 20 lb band at Dick's which turned out to be way too stiff, but this medium band (16-20) is perfect. I can just get my arms slightly above shoulder height with the elbows locked. The construction looks and feels very sturdy, from the nylon sleeve, handles, and especially the rubber wraps below each handle. I've had other supposedly good bands snap at the base of the handle, but I don't sense any risk with the Stroops.

The ones I received had handles not clips, very good handles and they were black also they are 47 lb pull not 105 lb pull. . Great workout cables though, I now have 2 of them.

I've not done any workouts yet but I find I can actually use these since they are very light resistance. I've had other ones that are a medium strength and because I am just starting to workout am unable to use anything any stronger. Hope to work up to a light or medium. Plan to order more in the future. Love the fact that they are covered tubing. Feel this would be a great product for someone just starting to do resistance training with bands.
