Joseph Joseph 40054 SwitchScale Digital Scale with Reversible Lid, Gray

One of the best weights that we have purchased. So clean and easy to read, specially with the digital light. The weight pan is a great design. I would highly recommend it.

Like the bowl feature.

While I loved the scooped bowl and design, the scale itself is not accurate. I found it to read differently based on where an item was in the bowl and was completely inaccurate when measuring in grams. As a baker I need it to be precise as 50 grams vs 65 grams is a big difference with some ingredients.Has a hard time staying zeroed as well - every time it went to sleep (which it does really really quickly) it came awake with the weight of the bowl (and a little different each time!!) Unfortunately too late to return so this is a donation - hopefully someone who is just measuring large volumes will make use of it.

I love these scales. They're so easy to use, and compact to store. These are my second pair. My last ones being in the uk.

I like everything about the design of this food scale except for it's display placement. The bowl was simple and effective, but unfortunately every time I wanted to see the weight, I had to lower my head a little each time. The display has a faint lighting effect when reading it from a downward angle when you're close to it. If you happen to have a higher tabletop, this could work for you, but for mine being at 3ft it was difficult to read.
