The controllers work with the system, but they are bigger than the ones made by Nintendo. Which means all of the additional covers/adapters/etc will NOT fit. Other than that, they work exactly the same as the controllers you would get with the system.

Update: you get what you pay for. They are really light and few cheaply made. It comes with the usb cord but no adapter to plug into the wall. With only one usb cord you can only charge one at a time. But the thing that gets me the most is just really how cheap they feel. They just don’t feel as good in my hand as the real switch joycons. They do not fit in the Black switch control holder thingy I can’t think of what it’s called. They are only for using on the switch or solo in your hand. But I can’t stress it enough they feel like a cheap dollar store product and would likely break quick

Item ordered was not item received. I got the controllers but not the correct USB cable listed in description or printed on the box

Little unsatisfied these only lasted four days but I do have five boys who played with them so maybe I just need to buy another one and see if it was our fault or the item

Technically they worked, but the triggers were hard to press down and it drifted. Not to mention it was poor quality plastic and didn't feel like it was made well. Just get the real thing, this certainly was not worth it.

These came messed up they have froze since day one the buttons stick ! Definitely not worth the money !

Good but unlike the proper controllers there’s a cross on the red one instead of four buttons which makes it annoying when playing games like Mario cart and needing to use the 4 buttons separately to accelerate and shoot etc. However all round, they work, and are much better for adult hands as compared to the smaller originals.
