What happens when an aspiring actor slash crime lord meets a pompous action star with violent tendencies? Yea, we don't know the answer either, but this movie will tell you. While filming his latest film, Su-ta took his role of playing a gangster "too seriously" and ends up sending one of the stuntmen to the hospital, adding to his already notoriously bad reputation in the film industry. Blackballed by the studios Su-ta enlists wannabe actor, Gang-pae, to join the film production...on the condition that he fights for real. The problem is, Gang-pae is actually really a gangster. The two main characters continue to tease and fight every chance they get and although this results in some impressive footage for the production, soon both of their lives are changing, and not necessarily for the better.

The subtitles are good from start to end
The subtitles are good from start to end. I just .....something about this movie I didn't care for. The end is kind of sad if you ask me but other then that I just can't say why i'm not liking this movie. Who knows give it a try you might like it ore then I did.

Do Not Buy the Asian Crush DVD!
Rough Cut is a wonderful movie, one of the best to come out of South Korea (which is saying something since Korea produces so many great films), and I strongly recommend seeing it. However, the Asian Crush DVD is terrible quality. The picture quality is low and sometimes a little pixelated and even worse the sound is nearly a full second out of sync. It wasn't just one defective copy, the one they sent as a replacement was just as bad.Movie: 4.5 starsDVD: 0 stars

Really interesting story line that draws you in and holds on.
Really good and interesting story line.The acting by these lead actors draw you into the characters. Story is believable plus does not take the expected route.Both of these talents on screen at the same time just holds onto you.Can hardly wait to purchase this film.

Good acting. Believable story and plot. They didn't overdo anything and make it unbelievable, even at the end.

Great acting and great story.
