Surprisingly sturdy and well made for such a low price!
I bought this for a corner in the lunchroom for a computer the employees could use on break. I figured it did not have to be great because it was not actually going to be a business desk, and honestly did not expect much. BUT the wood shelves are solid; the metal frame is quality powder-coated and stylish. The parts are perfectly matched and go together well. Screws together tightly. The casters are full-size and fit metal to metal so there will likely be no stress-breakage; they roll and lock perfectly. The keyboard tray slides in and out with ease. It is hard to tell the size by the photo, but here it is: on the bottom shelf I have a 3-in-one inkjet printer and the CPU, side-by-side.The only part I did not like was the little mouse shelf that attaches to the bottom of the keyboard tray so it can pull out to be used. Since there is plenty of room for a keyboard and mouse on the tray, I figured it would be an annoyance - just personal taste and certainly nothing to be marked down for.Truly an exceptional value for a very low price. Great for students, college, bedroom, corners, mobile homes, or business applications like mine.

Early, but good returns so far.
The mousepad tray is my only issue with this desk so far. It did not stick in no matter what, but I probably wasn't going to use it much anyway. You need a Phillips-head screwdriver to finish this up, but otherwise all tools are provided. Nice finish and feel for particleboard.

Started out optimistic, ended up disappointed
The desk came well-packed, although with an overwhelming chemical smell from the wood.It came with a few extra short screws, which I had to end up using. The top, bottom, and back went together really quickly, and used very long, sturdy screws. The sliding rails went on quickly as well. The frame seemed to bend at the sites for the screws, and I didn't turn them super-tight. Also, the screws worked, but the holes were drilled a bit too large, and the screws could not center over the hole; they ended up with the edge of the hole visible near an edge of the screw's head. The bad news started to come when I attached the mouse tray. Tiny, maybe half-inch screws hold the brackets to the tray that your forearm rests upon. The tray slides along the brackets, and stops because of two more tiny screws that are stops. They don't fit in the groove evenly, and will probably come out (if the bracket isn't worked out of the pull-out tray above first. The second bit of bad news came when I tried to attach the sliding keyboard tray to the desk. When I fitted the first side into the glides, there was about a half-inch gap between the other side and its glide. The top of the desk was pushing the glides too far apart to attach the keyboard tray. I tried and tried, thinking that I was 'doing it wrong,' but only ended up having to try to smash ball bearings back into the glides, then squish the glides smaller with a clamp to keep it from happening again. You could probably plane down the sides of the top, and the tray might fit. I decided to hunt down washers, and put three sets in (one on each glide attached to the frame, and a single set on one side of the keyboard tray). That solved the gap issue that I had.My husband has yet to use the desk; I finished it before he got home, and it was a long day. When I pushed his roller chair to the desk, there is about a six-inch gap for legs- I've never measured his legs, but I think that they might be thicker than that. I'm not sure it'll be that comfy. Also, the tower takes up a lot of space underneath, and I imagine that he'll rest his feet on the bottom shelf, without thinking. I don't know how much room he'll have to do that with, since his manly legs will already be lacking circulation because of the keyboard tray's positioning. All in all, it's a very nice desk, as long as you don't need that horribly-planned keyboard tray. If you were planning on using the keyboard tray, I'm hoping that you are a child whose parents are celebrating your big-boy birthday with your very own desk. You will love this (as long as you are veeeeeeery gentle with that tray).

This desk is okay, not great.
We were swayed by the product reviews of other customers, the sleek design and the fact that the unit was simple and had wheels. Upon arrival - we are not as excited. We'll start with the CONS: The product is VERY light (which concerns me for lasting durability in a teenage boys room - not so concerned with the frame, but the sturdiness of the shelves). It also does not accommodate his deep gaming computer tower (we had to turn it sideways, which was not ideal - we should have measured the tower and matched it to the specifications - our bad). There are no written directions, only pictorial (which might pose a challenge for folks new to putting things together). PROS: Despite the pictorial directions, it was VERY quick to put together. The unit looks good and is compact, which was an initial selling feature. The desk came neatly packaged, with all parts and had no damage. We will hope for the best - for the cost (which was a PRO) I guess we cannot expect much.
