Need to precut measurements? Not an issue with this tool.
If you install walls and ceilings professionally, at piece-rate, or on a deadline this simple tool will expedite your fixture cutouts exponentially. Primary use is for pipes or fixtures that extend past the wall or ceiling by more than two or three inches or any instance in which your material can't hang flush for accurate routing. Best for HVAC closets, utility rooms, sprinkler and fire safety systems, bathrooms, and kitchens. It's lightweight, durable, and will not break in your tool belt throughout a day of nonstop work.

It's great for acoustic tiles and sheet rock
I am a commercial electrician and a carpenter let me borrow one of these for repetitive holes in ceiling tiles. It saved me a ton of time. I couldn't believe how cheap the tool was and this will be forever in my tool bag. It's great for acoustic tiles and sheet rock. The days of tracing and guessing are over. You do need to finish the hole with a drywall saw or knife, but with this tool making the initial cut, it's quick work. Any electrician that installs a lot of ceiling mount devices like motion sensors, daylight sensors, etc needs one of these.

Awesome tool
Perfect for electricians in the installation of high hats and for those who install kitchen cabinets to mark the back where plumbing goes. For the price you can't go wrong and you will love it when you see how neat your work can out thanks to this tool.

Great tool to etch the circle
Works well. Make sure the knob is tightened and secure before you start to etch the drywall. I used this and a small dry wall saw to cut a really clean circle in the drywall. Basically I etched it with the wallboard tool, then used a drywall saw to cut 4 large pizza like slices. I then used a hammer to lightly tap out each slice of the drywall. This probably wasn't necessary but it was the first time doing it and I wanted to be sure it was a nice clean circular cut.

Works great
I built new garage that I put 30 can lights in. I used this to cut the holes in the rock. I found the center of the light and used the cutter to cut both sides of the rock. Use a nail to stick through the rock to mark the back side. Once you score both side tap it with a hammer 5-6 times and it will fall out.not sure how long it will stay sharp. Will out last my 30 holes that I am cutting in.

Worked out great
I bought this tool for purposes unrelated to what it was built for, and it worked out great. I used it to cut large clay circles in my ceramic art class, and it did a great job of it. I’m sure I could find other uses for it in sculpting and other art projects. It probably works fine for cutting drywall too, that’s just not what I bought it for.

Circle Cutter
This circle cutter works so much better then I ever thought possible. My friend was working on my car about a month ago, installing speakers/subwoofers in my car. He needed to make some cutouts on the back of the seats of the 2nd row in my car so he could fit the subwoofers on the back of the seat. The circle cutter effortlessly made a perfect circle on the back of the seats enabling my friend to install the subwoofers.Easy to use, no instructions needed and it's great!

WHAT'S THE POINT!?
At sight looks heavy duty like itl last you for some time but when you go to mark your circles there way off! about 1/4 of an inch of the marks and thats a struggle trying to guess the real measurements especially when your working trying to finish fast and that slows you down.
