Q: how long should the bag last a kitten?

kittens require 2x the calories of adult cats because they are still growing - please don't feed kittens less just because they are smaller/weigh less or they won't get the nutrients they need to grow into healthy adult cats. The bag shows that kittens should be fed this product at 6% of their total body weight and that the total amount should be split into 3 to 4 meals per day. the 6% would be referring to dry product (before any water would be added to it). So the amount of time a bag would last would depend on your kitten's weight and the size of the bag you purchase.
