IMPORTANT: The Torso Belt is a positioning belt only and is NOT designed to serve as an automobile safety belt.
Our easy to use Velcro closures make getting in and out of these belts a simple task. No need to remove the belt, it stays attached to the seat using a pinch buckle in the back, should it need to be removed it's as simple as releasing the buckle.
Designed for people with poor upper-body strength, our Torso Support Positioning Belts prevent unwanted forward and lateral movement, and maintain the torso in proper mid-line position while sitting. The dual strap and side stay composition ensures secure torso position without restricting breathing. The Fold-over Velcro Closure is the most popular. It uses a Velcro strap which threads through a D-ring and fastens by folding back upon itself. The fold-back design adds extra strength. It is an easy and comfortable fastener for people with limited strength.
