English Music for Viola

Excellent.

Gift to a student of the viola who enjoyed this cd.

This CD is very rewarding. Paul Coletti and his accompianist, Leslie Howard played a diverse selection of viola pieces that were extremely rewarding. I especially loved the Mummer's Carol by Percy Grainger and the Rebecca Clark Sonata.

This is a beautifully played recital of unfortunately unheard music - the two performers are in such elegant sympathy of phrasing and interpretation. The two Clark pieces are a revelation.

Includes rare recordings of music by Rebecca Clarke.

Disappointed with the condition of this. Won't play properly on my CD player- lots of noise and scratches. Haven't tried downloading it to my computer yet.
