Excellent form versus function!
Excellent product! I’m grateful to have found a solution for reducing bathroom clutter. It is a solid toilet seat, with an integrated magnetized potty seat. So easy to use and keep clean.

Perfect potty training solution for home with little ones
Perfect fit for our American Standard oblong toilet. Highly recommended if there are toddlers in the house. Installation was a breeze. For a heavy wood toilet seat the soft close for the lid works surprisingly well. The child insert seat isn’t soft close and is made of plastic, but the plastic is thick enough to where it feels sturdy. There is a magnet built into both the lid and child seat. So the child seat sticks to the lid when not in use or upon opening the toilet lid if it’s closed. This toilet seat was actually a second contender when we were selecting a new toilet seat to replace our prior wooden toilet seat wherein the lid was falling apart. What made us hesitate to buy this first was the price when there are several cheaper toilet seats with child seat insert for sale on Amazon. Since we have toddlers, we decided to go with a toilet seat that had the child seat attachment instead of buying more cumbersome potties or potty inserts. The first one we got was half the price of this one, made of plastic, felt flimsy, and the adult seat was barely 2.25 inches wide around. Yep, barely 2.25 inches! You wouldn’t think that 3/4 of an inch around would make a difference, but it sure does. There’s the support of more material under your bottom when sitting, and the splash guard aspect. And the latch configuration was horrible on the first toilet seat-it basically didn’t stay put (though the seller/manufacturer claims it will work with an American Standard toilet). Seeing how flimsy and ill-fitting the first toilet seat was, we decided to just order the Mayfair toilet seat and pay the higher premium for something we will be using regularly as a family and want to last. We are so glad we came across this toilet seat on Amazon. The width of the main seat is at least 3 inches around and feels sturdy (not like you’re about to sink into the toilet seat). We are not big people- between 23 lbs and 165 lbs respectively). The child seat is designed well, so that the toddler can actually use both #1 or 2 without worrying that something is not going to make it into the toilet if you know what I mean. ***The first toilet lid from this seller came with a broken hinge, but they shipped out a replacement quickly. All in in all, very satisfied with this toilet seat and the seller.

Didn’t last a single year
Didn’t even last for a single year. The slow close feature is apparently done by a little device inside the hinge, but when it locked up for no apparent reason and I tried to close the toilet seat it snapped and now the whole toilet seat is falling off and unusable. It was great till this happened. It’d be nice if I could buy JUST the part I need without getting a whole new toilet seat.

Fantastic Potty Training Seat for Little Learners
We acquired this potty-training seat to support our 2-year-old daughter's budding interest in potty training, and it has exceeded our expectations.Installation Process (5/5):Installation was a breeze. Removing the old seat required a flat head screwdriver, and following the provided directions for the new seat was straightforward. The only challenge was ensuring it was perfectly centered, but a bit of patience solved that.Features and Design (5/5):The soft-close mechanism and magnetic feature of the training potty seat are outstanding. The soft-close adds a touch of convenience, and the magnet ensures secure placement.Build Quality (5/5):Impressed with the heavy-duty construction, I (a 6'3" male) can confidently sit on the lid without stability concerns. The durability of the seat is a standout feature.Performance and Functionality (5/5):After a week of use, the potty-training seat has performed exceptionally well. Our toddler is actively engaged and learning the potty routine. It 100% meets our expectations.Ease of Cleaning (5/5):The removable feature for cleaning is a game-changer. It's remarkably easy to take off for thorough cleaning, simplifying toilet maintenance.Comparison to Other Products (5/5):While I haven't tried other potty-training seats, this product stands out on its own merit, meeting all our requirements seamlessly. Conclusion (5/5):In conclusion, this potty-training seat has made the transition for our toddler smooth and enjoyable. Its robust construction, user-friendly features, and easy cleaning make it an excellent choice for any parent navigating the potty-training journey.

Decent product with some flaws.
This toilet seat has a lot of potential but falls short in a few key areas. Installation was frustrating due to the poor quality of the plastic mounting screws. One screw was completely crooked, so we had to reuse a screw from our old toilet seat. The child seat attachment is not well-designed and occasionally detaches when flipped down, which can be inconvenient. While the adult seat feels sturdy and durable, the child seat is relatively flimsy but sufficient for a child’s weight and size. The whole seat is just slightly too large for our toilet, but it is a negligible issue. On the plus side, the magnet that holds the child seat in place when not in use works very well. The easy-clean clips are another issue—they’re extremely hard to open. However, once you manage to open them, the seat slides off easily for cleaning.Despite its flaws, this seat still works well for our needs. While the design could use some improvements, it’s a product we still enjoy using overall.
