They are Phenomenal
Brought one each for grandchildren aged just 11 and 8. We asked them what to write in a review. "Brilliant reakky fast at loading. Touch screen is great has helped with my school work, plus loads of games."Adults say easy to set up, great battery life, has made home schooling so so much easier, the children love them. They are better by far than the ones at work.

Fantastic buy
I have had this for 2 months now and it is fabulous. Light, slim, easy to use. Set up super quick as linked to myngoogle account. I work on Sharepoint and Teams and it all runs quickly and cleanly. Zoom has some functions which don't work on Chromebooks which I found out after I brought it, but I have worked around this now. Overall very happy.

Brilliant Pixelbook for writers, browsing and streaming
After hours of research, deliberation and wondering whether I really could move from MacBook Air I took the plunge and bought this. First thing to say, is this isn’t going to be a complete laptop replacement for some of us. For me , I use this mainly for writing , research and entertainment and I have a business GSuite subscription.I really cannot speak highly enough of the Pixelbook! As a PhD researcher it is always difficult knowing what to buy to , well simply write and research on - this has been perfect! I’ve been writing happily on google docs and found Zoom, Teams , Evernote all work fantastically on this device - I am now free from sitting for hours on end at my iMac !Importantly, the keyboard is absolutely wonderful to type on, the screen as sharp as any Retina display and lightening fast speed makes the Pixelbook a dream to use.Everything works as it should , chrome extensions are just amazing and I can even venture to Microsoft using my 365 login for Office to edit Office documents on the go.Admittedly, I have the Mac for creative content and for running research software. Plus an ancient IBM ‘just in case’ - academia operates in old IT so I have to make sure anything I write is compatible with whatever ancient system is being used.If you don’t need to edit heavy video, music or need any ancient compatibility ability and just want something for browsing , writing, entertainment and using cloud based services - the experience doesn’t get any better! This device even has a touch screen , so whilst it is expensive it is (in my view) better value for money than a a nightmarish Windows machine. Obviously, no operating system is immune to cyberattacks though statistically , Linux the OS this runs on is arguably more trustworthy and secure than Windows.I’ve watched a bit of media on here as well , the Pixelbook sports a brilliant picture and is more than adequate to watch Netflix etc on. Battery life is exceptional, mine is just running flat after almost 11 hours use.As long as you’re comfortable working in the Cloud this is the device to get. You can also download documents, though if you’re connected to cloud storage you really don’t need a great deal of memory. I find the 64gb is large enough to hold all the apps I need.Take the plunge and enjoy a device that just works, at a comparatively friendly price point.
