Great for the nearly blind
My husband is nearly blind. This is not his first “talking” watch. This is a good choice. The voice is very clear and easy to understand, which hasn’t always been the case with other watches he’s used. We’re hoping this one will last longer than others which seem to have a life expectancy of 2-3 years. Since they aren’t terribly expensive we can replace as necessary but would like to have one that would last a bit longer.

I would give zero Stars if I possibly could we got this watch plus we got a replacement and both of them every time you set them down on a table or a stand they would lose 3 hours time every single night both of them..the only offered a little bit of my refund.. stay away..

Easy for first time user
Five senses Atomic talking watch...easy setup, extra battery. Got it for man, expandable band, white face black numbers. He says he can see face better and it is easy to work for him. First time for a talking watch. It will be easy to replace if needed. Price is very reasonable.

Such a well made timepiece!
I'm always leery of product names that I'm not familiar with. That being said, I made this purchase based on function, reviews, and price. I can honestly say I got my money's worth! My mom, whom I bought the watch for as she is 85 and her eye's aren't that great anymore, absolutely LOVES it! It has helped her tremendously. She has been showing it off to all her friends! :)

instructions not accessible
This watch is supposed to be for blind and low-vision people, but the enclosed instructions are printed, in small print only. There is a video, but for the blind it's useless. For low-vision, the visual instructions may be large enough to follow, but there is no voice whatsoever for the blind. There's a black screen with large-print introduction, and then a silent person points at buttons. You hear the watch talk, but that's it. A product for the blind needs to be able to be set up independently by a blind person, not require a sighted person to help. It also appears that the designers failed to take into account that blind people may be as mobile as sighted people. The instructions include how to set the time zone for the initial setup, but there is no instruction for how to change the time zone once it has been set, if the owner travels to a different time zone or different country! The watch is attractive and appears to be sturdy; the male voice is clear and has plenty of volume, but there are some definite drawbacks.

Great for the elderly
Set up was easy. Dad likes that he can press a button and it says aloud the time and if he presses it again it'll tell him the date. He has dementia and has sight issues so the big font and voice option is good for him.

Great talking watch!
We use it for my alheizmer's brother who could no longer tell time. If he hears it, he gets it. The only thing is that it was NOT adjustable as the listed stated and so we took it to a jewelry store and I guess there is some trick to the adjustment as well. An experienced jeweler with watches was able to fix it with no problem. Otherwise, would easily buy this watch again.
