Q: Why is the cost so high? I can buy this @ BJ’s for less than $15.

The cost is not high. It's comparable to Costco (cheaper by $0.50 or so).

Q: How much sodium per bowl?

This product has 2070mg of sodium! The picture of the product says it’s much less. But when I got it and opened it, it says 2070mg! Wow

Q: Only added half a packet still too spicy. any other way to cut down on the spicy taste once added??

I don't think there is a way to make it less spicy without omitting the flavor packet completely which makes for a very bland bowl of noodles. I like to add tofu and frozen veggies to mine. They seems to cut the spicules a little but not to the extent I think you're looking for. Nongshim has a bunch of other noodles that you may consider trying. Not the Black noodles though.
