Robinair (15195) Combination Inlet Tee Fitting for R-12 and R-134A

Purchased this item for my yellow jacket vacuum pump, says there's a check ball in the fitting mine didn't seem to work. However, I may have done something wrong with it, did not affect part in any way. I did have to purchase a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter to fit it to my pump.

Easy way to use the same vacuum pump for many different refrigerant applications

Converted an old vacuum pump (actually a high-vacuum scientific pump, overkill for refrigeration work but very fast and thorough) to use dual connections. This is a replacement for Robinair pumps but can be adapted to many others. This fitting has an internal check valve that prevents a system under vacuum from pulling oil out of a vacuum pump that has been turned off or lost power. This is a great feature, but this ultimately reduces the ultimate vacuum an otherwise strong pump can achieve. The Schrader/Acme ports do not have valves installed, so a cap on the unused port is necessary. There are no tethers on the caps, so be careful not to lose them.

My fitting was cracked from someone improperly handling my vacuum pump. The price was good and it is the original part. works great!

Use it for a vacuum pump (not robinair). has check valve made into it. Base of tee is 1/4 inch NPT, with r12 and r143 adapters.
