The Haxan Cloak

I first heard of The Haxan Cloak through Bjork. I downloaded his music and listened. HOLY CRAP! The Haxan Cloak is some of the best electronic music I have never heard! Combining string arrangements, heavy basslines, and unorthordox beats/time signatures into a mix that is experimental (unlike I've ever heard), spooky, scary, introveted, alienating, and borederline nightmare-ish, The Haxan Cloak (the artist and the album) isn't for the faint at heart! ALL OF THE TRACKS (I REPEAT....ALL) are excellent tracks that work well as a soundtrack for a horror movie, backrground white noise for a noise band artist, or a catalyst and manifesto for your deepest, darkest thoughts! For those of you that love to found music that is so left-of-center, check out The Haxan Cloak! Your mind will never let you forget it!

Loved this recording. Very interesting. Reminds me of a score for a Kubrik film. Would by more music from this artist.
