Gardner Bender GSW-123 Electrical Toggle Switch, DPDT, Mom ON-OFF-Mom-ON, 20 A/125V AC, Screw Terminal, Gray

The Gardner Bender switches were what I needed to "modify" the ignition switch on my old 89' Ford F 250 pick up. The link between the ignition key tumbler and electrical part of the switch broke, (and after only 31 years). I used the DPDT to isolate the on/off and "run" mode from the accessories and it works well for this. I used the Gardner Bender DPDT momentary switch for the signal to the starter. These are industrial duty switches and will certainly outlast the rest of the truck. The brand is priced at less than half of what the cheap Chinese knock offs are going for and very well made....

I use it to switch a latching solenoid in a Jeep. (battery disconnect) The switch has been dependable for several months now.

The switch is well built but a little more expensive. After seeing the switch I believe it may be worth a few extra bucks. Time will tell!!

First off, the Pros: Seems rugged enough and includes backing nut. The Cons: The terminals and screw heads should be wider. I used mine with small gauge wire, and the wires wanted to migrate out from under the screw head when I tightened them. Otherwise I'd have given it 5 stars. Apparently 4PDT MOM switches aren't all that common. Why should you buy it here? I tried ordering them first from Menards, Home Depot, and Lowes. It seems that no one stocks them in stores. In each case the price was $5.99 and they only would sell them in lots of 5, which makes no sense since the restriction only applied to this particular switch. Here they were much less and you only have to buy one if that's all you need. So I showed 'em: I bought 3!

I bought a few of these to have as backups. Some of our farm equipment uses DPDT switches and one on our hay baler went out. I searched this whole town for a DPDT switch and found none. The local farm equipment dealer is the only place that had them and they were $50! each. It's just a freakin switch. So, as is becoming more and more common in my life, Amazon to the rescue.

Gardner Bender makes high-quality switches. I needed a double pole double throw momentary switch for my shop elevator. Not find them locally . These switches met the amperage need for the Hoist motor for the lift, I'm using them in three locations, ground floor, attic and on the lift carriage itself. Very happy with these!

IO bought this for a project I was doing. Its a toggle switch and its built well. I returned as it is a momentary switch and I needed a selector switch. So I will buy the correct one. Could have a little better description on the item.

La conception semble fragile et la qualité globale est très décevante pour cet article. Heureusement, Amazon m’a remboursé, mais je ne recommanderais pas ce modèle. Mieux vaut se tourner vers une marque ou un modèle plus robuste, testé et fiable. Décevant.
