The Sims 3: Showtime - PC/Mac

Showtime is a fantastic addition to the Sims 3. The acrobat, singer, and magician careers are a great way to add some fun and interesting new options for your more stage comfortable sims. All life-states are able to join the new careers. Sim-bots likely will not be able to, but I haven't tested that out yet. The new clothes and hairstyles are also very nice, and give sims for flair. Genies are a wonderful new life-state that are capable of cleaning the house and conjuring perfect meals instantly. The ability to banish sims is also handy. I've yet to find a use for ensorcel, but it is certainly interesting. As an NPC, Genies can grant various wishes, though I have yet to do so.

I've been a Sims fan for some time now and I'll admit I like all the expansion packs. It's fun trying out new gadgets & clothes on your Sims. There are lots of new items to play with on this expansion so I do highly recommend it. I had no issues with the download and never do with any of the games I download.

I hate how I was literally only 30-40 minutes away from Goodwill, where I ordered the game from, and it took 4 days to get to my house, but besides the complaint about the seller, the game is amazing. I can make exciting Sims 3 movies and music videos and everything. I also love the crowds and new city, Starlight Shores. Amazing and best expansion pack yet. Thanks, EA!

About a month or so ago, I reviewed this The Sims 3 Showtime expansion pack and gave it a one star rating because it crashed every time I tried to play it. I read online that this issue was due to needing an update for The Sims 3 base game so I uninstalled this Showtime expansion pack, updated The Sims 3 base game, and re-downloaded it and it worked. I now have no issues with the Showtime expansion pack crashing on me. I decided to wait a month or so before I tried to re-download this Showtime expansion pack because my internet is supposed to be unlimited but it's not and these Sims games do take away quite a bit of internet data to install. Overall, I like this The Sims 3 Showtime expansion pack. It's not the best Sims 3 expansion pack but it's different and interesting enough. This expansion pack pairs well with the Late Night expansion pack since this Showtime expansion pack does not come with a piano or drum set which I find odd because there is a singer profession in this Showtime expansion pack. If this Showtime expansion pack had more items and content like a piano, violin, and drum set I would have given it five stars.

I enjoyed this expansion pack for the Sims 3. It really brings in another level of enjoyment. I went through each career and took my Sim to the top. It can become a bit tedious after a long time of playing, but I would just switch to another career to change things up. I recommend it if you want to bring something new to your game.

I give this 3 stars for one reason; I have yet to play the game and it would be unfair to rate the game poorly; however, I give Amazon 0 stars for the Game and Software Downloader. I literally spent 3 days trying to download my Sims 3 games. I purchased 3 total as a download. Now, it was not that it took 3 days to finally download, it is that I have spent 3 days trying to figure out if there is anything I can do to remedy the issues. First off, the Amazon GS Downloader is terrible. The gateway network you have to establish in order to download is the worst I have ever used. It is so bad that I had to purchase a game a second time just so the downloader would install the most recent purchase on my list. The downloader ALWAYS gives an error message and will ONLY download but not install your game. I have tried it on both an older Windows XP laptop and a new Windows 7 desktop and I have the same problem both times around. What's worse is that I am trying to download on the newer Windows version and Amazon is still not installing it. For the amount of money I spent on these games, it is totally NOT worth it. Don't waste your money on Amazon game downloads...go to the store or purchase the actual disk. Unfortunately for me, I live in another country so going to the store is not my best bet (note: my signal strength is excellent so the error is not my network setup). Just have patience, because it will definitely be tested if you use the downloader. Use caution if you download games or software from Amazon.com!!!!

I am highly addicted to the Sims 3 and when I bought this digital download, I had absolutely had no problems whatsoever! Perfect downloading, extremely fast downloading and installing. I love the Sims 3 and want more lol. I highly recommend getting Sims 3 Showtime, if you don't have it already. In this expansion, you get 3 new careers, Singer, Magician and Acrobat and you can also Sim Port to your friends town and perform in your Sims town! I love this expansion!

This showed up about 2 weeks later, just the item I asked for, so I was happy about that. I decided not to keep the item for the reason that I ended up recieving it by someone else, so they refunded it without issue. Thankyou very much for the refund and the proper, timely package.

Only thing I have wrong with it is it froze on me . I tried another character and a new game and it has seemed to work so far.

Games was good

Very good. Got it quickly. Haven't been able to really play around with it yet but I like it.
