Red Co. 10.5” x 15.5” Shabby Chic Wall-Mounted Post Embossed Aged Metal Mailbox, Rusted Red

I absolutely LOVE this mailbox. I live up North where we get brutal winters and my HOA doesn't allow city plows in, they do it privately, and I'll just leave it that. We get really high snow that in low temps then turns to ice, and it's a hop, skip and a jump to my mailbox cluster, but far enough away during those moments to take a spill, which I did twice last year and began become concerned about this year (then it was Spring yesterday? Mother Nature's being Manic, though it was a warm and welcomed reprieve for a day - temps are dropping again as of today and we'll be buried in snow again any time now). My wonderful mail carriers had seen me take spills right in front of them (inset laughter here - only funny because the injuries weren't bad) and are so kind and sweet - and agreed to bring my mail to my door, asking me to just leave some type of bag out for them to put it in. I didn't like the look or concept of a bag, or their ability to feel the mail was secure and safe (we also get lake effect wind).I purchased this lovely vintage mail box and it's absolutely perfect. It's sized, colored and operates exactly as described and shown on the product page and product page pictures. Really a super nice, very well made, stable and lovely colorful (we're all white siding attached townhomes) product. It opens and close super easy, and I didn't hang it, we have an HOA responsible for the siding and didn't want to deal with the hole I'd have to make, so I just placed it on a table I have on my front porch, which sits under an overhang, and placed the top of it a tad bit under the siding above it. It's perfect. Absolutely beautiful, extremely functional, very stable now that I stabilized it by placed the top flat piece a tiny bit under the above piece of siding, and now not only the perfect place for them to leave my mail, but again, a really lovely colored porch item, that just so happens to function as well. I couldn't be happier and absolutely highly recommend it!

Love the 'rustic' style and the color adds a nice 'pop' to the mailbox area. The boxes are large enough to fit a lot of mail inside and easy to open. Happy with my purchase!

I love the look of this mailbox. We use it inside to keep mail in that keeps arriving for our adult kids. They can pick it up whenever they stop in. Holds a lot of mail!

Ok, you know this looks cool....and it is cool, and looks great on my house...BUT, only one drill hole pre drilled....I needed three. Drill holes beware.

Love this simple ,light weight and very easy to install mail box ,wish it had a stronger way to lock it but other than that no complaints ! Exactly what I needed to compliment the color scheme I have on my Craftsman 1904 home ,I will be selling soon . And the price was GREAT compared to local Hardware stores .

I wanted a Santa mailbox for my grandchildren, and although this box doesn't say anything about Christmas, this looks very cute by my front door because of the deep Christmas-y red. I put a little sprig of holly on it and it's perfect.

The wife made me paint the front door bright yellow! So, you gotta have a red Mail Box next to that, right? Come-on! Seriously though, it's cute, but it's 'Shabby' label is well earned. It was dusty and dirty right out of the carton! No inner packaging or bag. It looked as though it had been stored on the self of a barn, and then boxed for shipment! There were long course gray brush bristles caught in the seams. Evidently part of the 'Shabby-ing' process. The slit in the lid for the lock loop to slide through, was pretty close to matching-up though. The price was good but I don't think I'd want to work where it was made!
