Best case I've ever bought!
This is hands down the best case I've ever purchased, and I've been a pretty die-hard Antec fanboy for about 2 decades now. Firstly though, fair warning this case (with the mod attachment) is huge, but will still fit under most desks (won't be much room to spare). I did actually have to RMA the first one though, as the top part (915r) was missing the side panels, but I contacted CM support to see if I could get a couple of panels sent out to me and they were very quick in their reply and suggested I just RMA it through Amazon, which I did and received the new case a couple days later, complete with all parts.I purchased this case to house my new Haswell-E build, and initially purchased it because it can accommodate eATX MOBOs, which is what early glimpses of the now X99 mobo's appeared to be. I purchased the case early do make some slight mods to it for the theme I'm going with for this build. Now for some of the really awesome features. The hardware kit in the case comes with a little socket for the spacers that go between the MOBO and case, which is really handy. This is the first case I've purchased that came with that little socket, and I was mildly impressed. The HDD trays are also really great. I work in InfoSec and we build our own servers when we need new ones, and I usually head up those projects. And time and time again my main aggravation with the HDD trays is the little studs to hook into the HDD. It's a pain to get the damn drive in there. CM fixed this by putting a little locking mechanism on the underside of the tray, undo it and one side of the tray slides out about an inch, boom. You can put your drive (if using a 3.5") in quite easily now. That alone is one of my favorite features, even though I'm pretty much doing all SSDs with this build, if I do a fileserver later and need large format drives and such, this will be the case I get, solely for that feature.Cable management is also absolutely spot on with this case. You don't even have to try to make your wiring job look good, the cabled will be virtually hidden from sight. The routing is spot on. CM really did fine work here. The top 915r is a really neat feature too. You can use it for extra drive space, or even to build a second mini-ITX PC, or use it to house a bad-ass water cooling system (which I'm doing with this build). If you opt against building a mini-ITX in the 915r, it comes with covers to cover up the holes for the PSU and MOBO in the back. The side panels also have enough vent holes that you can easily mount a 3-4 fan radiator on each panel. The single fan in the case is also an exhaust fan, which is nice as it will help keep dust out of the case. If you're into air-cooling your systems though, you are going to want to pick up some additional fans. This has plenty of spaces in it for additional fans, however with the one single exhaust fan, as-is it's better suited to a water cooling setup.I've already started recommending this case to everyone I know. And at the office, for our non-rackmount servers, we're going to start replacing them with these boxes due to how well they're constructed, the space, and the modular nature for adding to them, particularly with storage.

Another CM let down
The package arrived damaged and the unit itself seemed to be missing parts, also had scuffs alongside either side of the tower. It might have been opened and sent back to the company and just got mixed up or perhaps just badly damaged in delivery. But myself and others I know have had bad experiences with collermaster products in the past as fair as DOA, or products not as advertised. On top of that the case just doesn't allow for the best setup in liquid cooling as your rads and tubes. Very limited space for cable management. Its unfortunate we don't plan on using them again again as we build custom PCs for number of people including ourselves. If you want room that you can actually benefit from in a large case that looks great go for the Obsidian 900D or any of the obsidian for that matter. Antec also has a larger roomier case with functionality nineteen hundred.

Could have been so much more...
I purchased this with high expectations, industry revolutionizing inter-locking cases, true innovation in a fast moving industry...that is awesome!! The case arrived, I opened it, and then the disappointment set in. Going from my Haf- X case to this I had visions of no visible wires my water cooling loop displayed in the ITX case above and just something that made me fall in love with cooler master all over again. Something that said all the nights of sleeping wires and watching YouTube for how to vids would be on full display in this my greatest case yet! (So I hoped)First things first, the HDD bay's are removable, 5.25" bays in the main case are not, so I drilled out the rivets like I have done for years, no big deal. MThere are 2 useless fans included out of the 10 I needed for my build, okay need a $100 in fans, kind of a negative. Oh the HAF used to mean High Air Flow from coolermaster, where are the 200mm and 230mm fan holes even if you don't include them?? What happen to he huge fan on the door?? Then there is the doors that arrive, the 1997 Hp 3 pins at top and bottom that need to laying then push forward that EVERY OTHER MANUFACTURE THAT SELLS A CASE MORE THAN $49.99 has evolved out of use! the transition spaces from case to case make no sense for cable management, did the actually use this in a build with the All to keep cost down, again for the price this case is awesome for a first time modder. There is no clean way to get from case to case without coming through openings in near the mobo tray. Then I started fitting in components and thinking of how the visions in my mind would come to life, unfortunately there was no way with what arrived to accomplish what I invisioned. Hey, that's okay I am a high standards kind of guy, it's not the corners coolermaster cut to keep cost down it was the build up I allowed myself to give into as I anticipated delivery. 1000 watt PSU, CPU waTer cooling loop and all the standards could not fit cleanly, so hey 60 dollars and I had the Haf 945. So now 10 fans and an additional case and it's gonna be awesome....still a week and a half later and I am still trying to fit everything and run wiring with NO cable management space...oh and don't forget all the extensions you will need to make/buy depending on where you put your PSU. If this case was built better with modders in mind with another $50 on the price tag I think the bar would have been set very high for other companies to replicate what coolermaster has done. But instead they over up a sub par box that will be the stepping stone of greater things to come, hopefully.
