I am very pleased with this lip balm. I have suffered from chronically dry, chapped lips all my life and have been disappointed more often than not with lip products, but remained determined to keep looking for something that works for me. Finally found it!At first I was put off by the dense stick that didn’t have the glide I like. I have very full lips, and appreciate a more emollient application. The product felt very dry and dragged a bit when applying, but a few seconds later, my lips felt dewy, soft and had a nice sheen. What is this sorcery?!I find that this product works best when applied AFTER removing dead skin on dry, chapped lips. I do this by using a damp washcloth (the cheap, rough kind you can get at Walmart) and a little facial cleanser, gently rubbing the lips, then rinse (You don’t want to be too rough otherwise the lips will just form more “scabs” over the more sensitive skin underneath in the form of dry crusty patches on the lips). Apply the lip balm. That’s it. All those fancy lip scrubs and plumpers are nice but not necessary. Also, avoid pulling, tearing and biting off dry skin on the lips because that only exacerbates the chapping, cracking and crustiness.This product works well as a base for lip makeup. Because of my situation, products like heavily pigmented liquid lipsticks wreaked havoc on my lips. Not anymore! I’m very pleased at how smooth and soft this lip balm makes my lips. Knowing that my lip situation isn’t going anywhere (I inherited it from my mom) at least I can now say with confidence that I’ve found my holy grail for my chronic chapped lip situation. Of course I’ll be stockpiling this product because good things always seem to get discontinued.

I've been using this lip balm for about 4 months now. It's a simple one, but it really works! It keeps my lips hydrated for hours and does a great job with chapped lips. It doesn't feel heavy or sticky either.

This is my favorite chapstick. My kids love it too. It lasts a long time and hydrates well.

I have enjoyed Aquaphor products, mainly their hand moisturizer, so I thought I would try out their lip balm. I used to live in a humid environment where I never had to use lip moisturizer but currently I live in a dry environment. For me, I like to have some moisture on my lips otherwise it feels uncomfortable but I never get dried out where they begin to crack. Normally I apply the original chapstick about 4 times a day because my lips get dried out regularly. So far for this product I've discovered my lips dry out sooner and have to apply on more. I believe this product could be great for recovering from chapped lips and I enjoy the clean ingredients but I still go back to the plain old ChapStick because it provides longer moisture.

Great if you have super dry lips and don’t want to carry a giant tub of Vaseline around and prefer the compactness of a tube.

Best lip balm, hands down. I am a lip balm addict - give me the flavors, colors, niche ingredients, etc, I love them all. The problem is that all of these make my lips dry and crack and I have to go back to good old Aquaphor to heal them. I keep these balms EVERYWHERE, it’s definitely my go-to. I have oily, sensitive and aging skin. This lip balm is a must.
