this thing is a must-have for a home DIYer!
I just got this today, Mar. 11, 2023, and already used it to mount 7 Command Hooks on 2 walls. This thing is godsend! This little thing is super simple to use! First off, it comes with 2 mounts. One is a wall mount in which you have to nail it to the wall to afix the laser. The other is a puddy mount. Note, the puddy mount clicks in to the wall mount when used as a wall mount. It comes with puddy! At first I was leery about the puddy holding the laser on the wall, but the thing did it! The puddy stayed put and kept everything in place. It comes with 2 AAA batteries, so you're all set out of the box.The unit only has 2 functions. First function is the laser. Second function is an auto-level. You just have to push-n-hold the button to turn on/off the laser. Once your laser is attached to the mount you can adjust the level by simply moving the laser up/down. AND.....the best thing is there's a bright easy to read LED screen that tells you how much you're off! If you're perfectly level the screen will read 0.00. But if you're off it will tell you how much you're off and you just simply move the laser till you get 0.00. Super easy! I love this thing and am glad I have this in my tool box! This is a must have for any home DIYer! Get it! You won't be disappointed!

The perfect and ONLY existing tool of its kind for practicing identifing angles while shooting pool!
Nothing else does with this tool does. If you remove the laser from the protractor base the place where the laser pivots is a hollow hole. You put that over where the ball was and then you can use the protractor to identify the angle of the shot compared to what you thought it was. It's HARD to predict accurately.

Hard to use, works ok
This tool works fine as a normal leveler. It has a magnetized base and you can put it on an object like a picture frame and adjust it until it reaches close to 0 degrees on the display. It works ok and that's how I've mainly been using it. The laser feature is useful if you want to make sure a row of picture frames are all in line and it also works fine as a laser plumb line. It's not self leveling like some of the higher end lasers and it just gives you one axis, not two. But for general around the house stuff, it's fine. The protractor part is a nice idea but didn't work well for me for the things I tried it on. Maybe if you just wanted to put it on the floor and find a certain angle and then repeat that on the other side of the wall that could work. It's sort of finicky and hard to work with, I am not a big fan of that part. The level itself is nice and it's small and easy to store in a drawer or toolbox. There is a guide to let you know if your angle is above or below 0 degrees which is nice when making tiny changes to try and get something just right. I'd definitely recommend this only for home use, not professional construction. It seems accurate but it just doesn't have a good way to mount to things except for the magnet and that's only when you are working with metal objects. Overall, I'm happy with it. It's not the best laser line leveler I've used but it's also not too expensive and works fine for the most part.
