Bad quality water supply. This is the first of 3 sediment filter stages on my RO system. It mainly stops a soft and slimy biofilm called iron bacteria. At best, the filter will last a couple of weeks before becoming overwhelmed. These are my choice for good quality filters that are going to be frequently replaced.

Organic compounds and bacteria.Run at least 1 paper or polypropylene and 1 charcoal filter for color and odor.I also recommend a UV lamp filter but that a bit more of an investment but totally WORTH IT especially if your on a well or rooftop tank!Promise.

I ordered the six pack of the 20 micron filters however three of them are 10 Micron filters. I think there is a reason my water maker manufacturer specifies 20 and I'm not sure that I should use the 10 micron. But I should have gotten six 20 Micron filters. Not exactly a bargain if I only got three filters out of it.
