All-Day Fat-Burning Diet, The Review: doable, flexible, not overly restrictive - I have been following Yuri for several years, and find his information to be well researched and in alignment with much current thinking and research. I like that he is just as concerned about maintaining health, as he is about helping you lose weight and get fit. While it may not be "ground-breaking" information - as intermittent fasting, interval training, resistance training, and elimination diets have become rather common in the last few years - neither are most diet, and health and wellness books. I am currently working through the program in the book, and find that it is doable, flexible, not overly restrictive, and I feel better than I have in quite some time. I have only gone 2 of the 3 weeks, but wanted to update my review - I have lost 6 jobs in 2 weeks. As I did not really have any water weight to lose, and haven't been keeping up with my workouts and walking, I feel this is quite an achievement. I started out saying I'll try a week, and see how I feel, and am continuing into my 3rd week. I'm really enjoying the food, and don't feel hungry or deprived. I've always avoided carb cycling diets, as they are too confusing to me. But, with having 3 weeks laid out for me in the book, it's been easy. Now, if I can just get myself motivated to get my workouts in! Review: Excellent Plan, Excellent Book - This is an excellent health/diet book. It doesn't advocate one rigid diet plan over another. It will truly work with Vegans, Paleo and everything in between. The recipes are luscious. This author really does cover all the bases . You'll know exactly what to do and by the time you finish the book, you will feel that your weight problems are over. You just have to follow the plan. This is the first diet book-- and I have read them all ---in which I can truly say I couldn't find fault with. With most diet books, usually a half way into the book, I always know that it isn't going to work --not sustainable for one reason or another The author included everything you need to know to guide you step-by-step, with meal plans and the recipes that correspond with the meal plans and all. I was always afraid of fasting but the way he explains it I now know that I can do even that small part of the diet. It's truly the last diet book anyone would ever need.

Credible information with a plan
I fit into every category of issues that Yuri addresses in this book, and I bought it because I am in search of a plan. In the past 10 years I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's, Colitis, adrenal fatigue, and pre-diabetes. I have a busy and challenging life in law enforcement and the owner of a DJ business. Three years ago I almost had to quit my job as a crime scene investigator and give up my business because I could not be away from a bathroom without being nervous. I was extremely fatigued, stressed out, and I just hurt all the time. Conventional doctors (even Mayo Clinic doctors) had me on 10 to 12 medications to try to help me feel better, but I continued to feel worse and worse. Finally, I found a functional doctor who has profoundly helped me heal most of my issues with diet and supplements. I am now only taking one prescription for natural thyroid. I am currently looking for a plan to take my health to the next step, and hopefully lose a little weight. I have also had to admit that I have an addiction to sugar. Yuri's book reflects the ideals and recommendations of my doctor, and other experts that have studied these issues, that have come to realize that food and illnesses are all connected. Being a problem solver I constantly read articles and blogs about the conditions I have. Yuri's book is a cumulative resource of all that I have read. It incorporates a plan on how to fix these diseases that had become such a restrictive force on my life. That is what I need, a plan. I already have incorporated many of the ideals expressed in the book such as gluten and dairy free, and finding balance and listening to my body when I'm working out. I am excited to implement the food cycling principals. Hesitant about the fasting days. But as he says in his selling points, I have tried everything else. So I will be starting the challenge January 4th. I will keep you posted on my progress. My goal is more energy, mental clarity, and weight loss. I have given 4 stars, as I believe in the principles and research, but have yet to find out if it works and will fit my busy life style.

THE BOOK IS FULL OF EXERICES AND FASTING, IF I COULD DO EITHER, I WOULDN'T NEED A BOOK. I WOULD LIKE MY MONEY RETURNED AS I WILL NOT BENEFIT. I DARE YOU TO PUBLISH THIS HONEST REVIEW. PATRICIA DAVISON WESTERN AUSTRALIA

I feel like Yuri is my personal coach. I have enjoyed his work for a couple of years now: he puts out so much excellent information on numerous topics. He truly cares about his readers and this book is a fantastic culmination of his work. This book shows you how to eat differently over a 5 day cycle, which assists with weight and body fat loss. Not only that, but there are specific exercises suited for each of these days (some days you don't need to exercise) as well and super yummy meals for all 21 days of the program. It is truly a "how-to" along with ongoing, excellent explanations of how the body works and why certain things are effective and others aren't. Enjoy! :)

Good for use even if you want to not loose weight, but change the way you think and lead a healthy lifestyle, without really missing out on food!

I'd crept over 183 pounds and was still gaining. Although it was upsetting me I couldn't seem to find the motivation or drive to do anything about it, I knew I was slipping into a nasty cycle. So when I was secretly shocked and upset by 'fat' pictures taken over the festive season I knew I had to do something. Plus I had a beach holiday approaching in just three weeks and it wasn't filling me with the joy it should have been. After a little research and reading reviews both on the UK and US amazon sites, I thought I'd give this a go. I'm really enjoying the food! I've dabbled with raw food and veganism in the distant past, Yuri's plan adopts elements (but includes pure protein with fish and meat) in a balanced way which really works for me, and as a pesky pescatarian, there is lots of choice on the plan, easy to prepare and no weird or wonderful ingredients. I'm going solo on this so I cook or prep in batches, for ease, and swap dishes within the designated days on the plan, i.e. low carb, low cal, etc. For some time I've also wanted to give up, or reduce sugar (having ready both Sarah Wilson and David Gillespie books), and I haven't touched sugary foods since starting this plan - haven't craved them either. Yuri provides lots of information on how lifestyle affects our bodies and can result in weight gain; it isn't simply just about what we eat. It's enlightening and encouraging. There is plenty to learn. Some of it I have read elsewhere and since starting the book more reports have come out. It's reassuring and affirming, and all brought together to understand how each element affects another and so on. I've done the 5:2 (among many other diets) which I initially had good results on but found it hard to get back to twice weekly fasts. This plan incorporates one day a week, total fast and my first fell on a day that I was apprehensive about. Where the temptation of buffet food would bring me down, and yes the food did look lovely, but I kept my target in mind and found it reasonably easy to skip it and at the end of the day felt really good. The reward? Today is day five and the scales tell me I've dropped to 175! I'm stunned, this hasn’t been hard!?! Clothes are already fitting better, my tummy is already shrinking and someone asked me yesterday if I'd lost weight! I'm sticking with it :)
