NO WHERE WORTH WHAT THEY ARE TRYING TO CHARGE
it's very clear to me that most reviews for this product are BS somehow arranged by the seller. The item is fairly solid but the locks are a joke at best, the one time I tried I thought the key was going to snap so I wont be doing that again. item says it is aluminum but it is wood with a sticker on it. and the thing that hangs on the lid... that couldn't be a bigger joke. over all for the price it is worth what I paid but this is NOT some great item like the other reviews implied. UPDATE originally gave this three stars, sortly after the review it started having issues with alignment and such. but nothing super serious and I do not use it heavily, more for storage really so I never updated the review so I was just going to see it. fast forward a year or so and I was actually going to get another one for more storage because it matched (and I have OCD about stull like that) and again it was just storage. then I saw the new price of 90.00???? this was pushing it at the 30 I paid. there is NO part of this item worth more then 40.00. do NOT waste your money. had they not jacked the price so much I probably never would have updated this but I can NOT in good conscience let someone pay this price without warning them. Buyer Beware

Very handy!
I did NOT receive this product for or at a discount for my biased "unbiased" review. However, I did buy this for $23.65 as a returned Warehouse item with some noted blemishes. This is a very basic carrying case overall, the inside flap is cleverly used to hold various implements at need. The cushioning on the bottom feels robust enough, but it is thin, which may be a concern depending on the item(s) that you intend to use this case for. Additional inserts may be needed, depending on your usage, to secure the item(s) from movement, which we intend to do (reviewing the provided photos should make suitability apparent to the individual). I really like this case, and see nothing wrong at all with it. It feels and appears sturdy enough to offer very reasonable protection from bumps and shifts in travel or shipping, so love the practicality and usefulness for not a lot of money. If you have super sensitive, delicate and spendy items/equipment that is subject to jostling, then you'd not be looking at this case, one would think. This would be great for carrying many items, safely. We're going to custom cut some foam for more delicate items for our upcoming move, e.g. figurines and small porcelain pieces. Packed properly, this is better than placing them into any moving boxes wrapped in paper, it's easily identifiable as opposed to a sea of boxes, too.

7U 84 HP
Perfect eurorack case. I’ve seen people mod the case to fit their rails or special order rails to fit, but that is not necessary. Just mount standard 84hp rails to the two longest spongy covered chipboard inserts and slide the thing back in. It fits so snug, it ain’t going nowhere. You may need to peel the spongy foam stuff off of the sides of the bottom inside. I’ve turned two of these into eurorack cases a needed to remove foam from one of them. Just add a power supply and some headers and you’ve got a reliable, sturdy 168hp of 3U space and if desired, 84hp of 1U space.

It's a keeper
I bought this to replace a similar case that I've had for almost 20 years that finally began to disintegrate. I like that this case has rounded corners, and the locks seem strong enough to repel a 4 year old child. The case shipped with two keys appropriately tied down inside with zip ties. The case is lightweight, but I don't feel like they've sacrificed much durability in keeping the weight down. It also looks nice and the price was definitely right. I'd have happily spent more for a more professional, more durable case that I'd never have to replace in my lifetime, but I just can't seem to find that case. Now the bad stuff. My biggest complaint is that the inner panel with the 13 pockets is just inadequate and poorly designed. The pockets are just small enough to fit absolutely nothing. I'd rather have 5 pockets that actually fit something, vs. 13 pockets that only fit 5 items. Strangely enough, the pockets are in the same layout and almost the same size as the one from the old case I'm replacing, but the subtle differences undermine the functionality completely. The latch system that holds this panel to the lid of the case is completely backwards in my opinion. The locking pin should be on the panel, and the flap to secure it should be a grommet that fits over the locking pin. Instead, this case has the locking pin strangely attached to the "security flap", and the panel has a grommet/hole that awkwardly fits over the security pin. It's more difficult to secure, requiring two hands, and it doesn't seem to be the most durable option. Lastly, regarding this panel, every time I open the case, the panel falls out of its "holder" brackets, which makes me absolutely crazy. I'm now drilling holes in the brackets to extend them or tie down the panel in a manner that will just hold the stupid panel in place. Here's an idea for manufacturers: Try your product before shipping it. I could also complain about the handle feeling like it's going to break soon. I carry a lot of heavy tools in this case, and I can't imagine that handle is going to last too long. When it breaks, I'll have to create a solution, but until then, I'm trying to be as gentle as possible.

About this
It's best describable as to what 'not' to look for in a person. Good quality on the outside but poor on the inside. To make matters worse, the strap that came with it is cheaply made and kills the look of the case. How can you put a cheap black strap on a silver case? It kills the richly look of the actual case. The dividers of the foam inside are of poor quality and the lines that you slip the dividers into don't line up so it looks bend and scrappy. The glue that hold it (foam) down to the case is already coming off and I only had this about two weeks. The case itself is a little bigger that want I wanted, however, I could live with that, as the seller did mention the size, so that's not their fault. If I hadn't thrown away the box it came in, I probably would have returned it.

Es un excelente producto, solo comento que la hoja de aluminio es muy delgada pero para fines prácticos es útil.

I use it for various small percussion instruments, mics and cables and the dividers make it work very well. Haven’t travelled with it yet but it seems sturdy.

This is perfect for my sons collection of knives. Love it and so much larger than I thought but all in all love it and I think my son will love it
