I brought this case to Death Valley, California for a month straight in August 2023. For you Army guys I'm talking about NTC rotation. My phone did not overheat once. I also took measures such as keeping it off at peak hot hours, putting it in airplane mode, keeping the case in the shade, and not repeatedly putting it in/taking it out during the day (as much as possible). Last time, I was here for a month May/June and my phone would show overheat warnings or tell me it couldn't turn on because it was too hot. That is why I bought this case and it worked great. The velcro becomes degraded after repeated use but it doesn't appear to affect heat protection because the phone never over-heated. I got complete service/signal with the phone in the pouch as well. My phone is a V50thinQ android OS. Lastly, it's a nice way to keep your phone safe from bumps/drops, and it makes it easier to find because of the silver color. I was jostling around all month in and out of big vehicles and running around with my phone in my hip pocket (inside this case) and had no new screen damage. Overall I'm extremely pleased with this case and I will buy a new one when I have to visit extreme temperature regions again. If it did the job here it will do it anywhere.

Due to my work, I’m often outdoors, and in summer, it's especially frustrating because my phone battery drains so quickly. A friend recommended this phone insulation bag, and it’s been a great help! My phone didn’t overheat at all，and the battery also lasted longer than usual.

So far it seems to work well in a hot car. There was one moment that my phone still seemed to overheat when I took it out.

This works great when I’m in the sauna and trying to relax to music while people are talking. I haven’t had any issue with it not keep my phone the right temperature to prevent it shutting down. Love it !

My husband works for the prison and has to leave his cell phone in his car, I bought this as we live in michigan and the winters are pretty cold, he had a problem with his phone battery dying because of his phone getting cold. The phone fits perfectly in it with a case on it. He has the I phone 11 plus, so a bigger phone. However during the days where we had 10° weather it didn't stop his phone from draining the battery, it says it's rated past below 0°. He tried keeping it in the glove box, under the seat and under a towel. All ways the battery was still drained due to the weather. I would say this purchase was not worth the money.

Okay, I know most people love this thing, but I have a few issues with it. One is ...no over the shoulder strap. My coat pockets aren't deep enough to hold this and that's an issue. I have to use my own over the shoulder phone holder (with strap) to carry it along and today in -8 degrees, for an hours long walk the phone didn't shut off on me, but upon arriving home, taking it out of the pouch it was very very cold and wouldn't charge because it was too cold to charge. That doesn't seem to be what was promised. Also, it's very very hard to open / the velcro is SO strong. I'm no weakling, but gosh...in an emergency situation when I need to open it NOW / it's going to take a minute. It floats...okay I don't need that, but what good is that feature if you don't have a strap connected to it to reach for (in the water)? If this drops in a river you don't even have a chance if the current just up and takes it downstream, like there is no long strap connected for you to grab for it you know? ------- Over all, I expected more / especially in the cold weather. ----------------I'll try it in the heat at the pool and if the phone doesn't overheat in the sun (all afternoon) I'll be happy enough - but I'm not thrilled with it so far.----------------------- What I know does work better than this is just dropping my phone into my electrically heated mitten during a walk. I may go back to that. At least then, when I want my phone I can just slip my hand out of the glove and bam - there is my phone already in my hand and warm. Well, I gave this a try. If you are skiing and have your phone on an inside pocket of your coat / don't see why you would need this anyway.

This works! You can go on walks and the phone will last longer. It’s also extra protection is you drop the phone on ice, and if you drop it in snow, the case doesn’t slither down into the depths.
