Mentholatum (R) Natural Ice (R) Sport Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Medicated Lip Balm - 12 Pack of 4.2 g Tubes

My lips are soft because of this amazing lip balm! I found this stuff probably over 5 years ago when nothing else worked to keep my lips from not going chapped. I went on a buying spree of all the lip balms on the market at the time and this was one of the ones in my purchases and the only one I really liked that worked incredibly well. I was really bummed when they stopped carrying the "sport" type in retail stores. Lucky for me, amazon carries it!What really sold me on it is that it isn't sticky feeling. The "sport" kind with the spf 30 is thinner feeling than the regular. It goes on really smooth and thin and doesn't feel sticky or waxy. It's not a heavy lip balm at all but it WORKS! The cooling effect feels nice on my lips. I often buy this 12pk and gift them away in the winter months! But I really use it year round with summer sun protection.One of my nieces had really chapped lips, so bad I remembered that it was red and irritated and flaky around her lips too. She tried a lot of different lip balms but nothing really worked so I gave her a tube of this stuff and within a few days of continuous use, her lips healed up and she says this is the best stuff ever! Every time one of my nieces come over, if they see a tube of this stuff laying around, they will use it and sometimes swipe it! Now I make sure I stock up so I don't ever go without. There's a tube of it in two of the purses I rotate on the regular plus a tube with my makeup case, one on my night stand and one on my desk...there may be a tube in my winter coat too!If you want really soft kissable lips, give this lip balm a try. I really LOVE this stuff, I just ordered another 12pk! :D

Love this chapstick so much

I have been a devotee of Mentholatum Ice Cherry flavor since the product was first released 25 years ago. I buy it by the case. This latest shipment I can see changes. #1 the FLAVOR is not the same. #2 The plastic in the tube is thinner, this results in the top flexing so much that it pops out of my hand when taking the lid off. #3 the volume of product has been reduced. The company acknowledges that they have reduced the weight by being more efficient with production.Even with those changes, I will still buy this product. I just miss the original cherry flavor!

Update: Order #2. This batch is more disappointing than my last order.Amazon deleted my previous review. This is a legitimate package of legitimate natural ice cherry. You will receive the correct amount of product from the legitimate manufacturer. This is not a counterfeit item, Amazatards.That being said, this stuff is terrible now. The recipe is different than what I have come to expect from Natural Ice over the previous few decades. The oily and extra perfumed nasty material you spread on your lips is 100% a change in recipe from the natural ice cherry you have purchased in the past. It's not counterfeit, it just sucks now. I regret my purchase; don't buy this. The ingredients on the tube are the same as before, because this is a legit product from a totally legit company. However, the label is different, the clarity on the label is different, the smell is different, the feel is different, and even the cap is flimsy compared to the previous tube.It's not counterfeit, but the quality is low compared to the past.

I forgot my typical brand on an outing. I needed to go to the drug store for mom. I wasn't really looking, I just grabbed a cherry ice. WOW!One try... I have never gone back. The application is smother and less "greasy" or "masky" than my others had been. It feel and tastes/smells refreshingly light. My favorite is cherry. A close second is the mint flavor (outdoor).The con... it can be just a bit hard to find. Many stores don't carry Mentholatum lip balm.It is worth the wait!

This product really works well as it melts into your lips rather than just a wax based product which simply sits on your lips. Works extremely well
