TIGERSECU Super HD 1080P 8 Channel DVR Security Recorder Without Hard Drive, Hybrid 6-in-1 CCTV DVR Recorder Compatible with 2MP and 5MP TVI, AHD, CVI, Analog, RS485 PTZ and IP Cameras

This particular DVR supports 1080p cameras which is all we wanted. We have 4 cameras setup and they are all different brands and work fine. The basic breakdown of our cameras is 1 coaxial PTZ, 1 wifi standard camera and 2 Poe PTZ which all work fine with this DVR. The DVR menu allows for control of all of the PTZ cameras. It is very quiet and easy to use. It is remotely accessible. We added our own 3.5 SATA hard drive which keeps the 4 streams for about 3 weeks prior to overwriting.

I went through 5 different CCTV systems as i make review videos on YouTube. out of 5 i tested this is the best you will get for the price. cell phone software = 95+% ease of use = 98+% set up 92+% customer serves = 110+% So can you get better? YES but not for this price. if i had a choice i would have gone with a 16 cam system so i could expand when needed. also spring the money an max out the HD capacity an get the 8TB if you got the money. Definitely get at least 1 PTZ in a high traffic area and a IP cam as well. Its been running so far for 6 months with no problems. it also worked with my existing cams as well so i didnt have to change them. The only problem i had was with email push set up but thats not important to me. YES i do recommend this or better from this company. PS: NO i am not being paid for this review nor was it sent to me free to review. i actually brought it to replace 5 other junky dysfunctional systems.

We actually made a mistake by ordering an Annke system simultaneously as ordering This, and Why we chose to go with the Annke system I have No idea! - My home / work base (PC’s) was broken into and the Annke caught Nothing!I am Exhausted from trying to get Annke to do the right thing and Replace my system since the Wrong System was sent to me but they Just Don’t Care!!*Tigersecu reached out to me More over just a Week than Annke has almost Half a Year now!!I’m Very Sorry I chose to Not go with This unit over Junky, I mean Annke!! Thanks Anyway, Still just may!

I actually returned this product. As I stated above, it was well packaged and well supported. I did not remove the DVR from the packaging. I was able to find parts I needed to get my Surveillance DVR back in operation. When my 5 year old unit will no longer "surveill" I will go with the latest model of the Tigersecu. This seller has invested in having their material written in clear english. The Amazon and seller packaging combined, insured the product arrived in perfect condition.

In todays age we expect lower price to equal lower quality. This is not the case with this dvr. This dvr replaced a commercial unit that was 3 times the cost. The quality on this unit was evident the moment I connected the first analog camera and subsequently the rest. The old unit gave me fuzzy grainy video, this unit gave me crisp, sharp images and only needed minor adjustments. The menu was easy to use for setup. Two concerns which I expressed to tiger was that I missed the ability to have camera1 (front door) in lager picture than the other 7 cameras and that it was a hassle when the computer went to sleep I had to relogin and wait for a minute to active cms on computer screen again. Both these issue were addressed when they provided me Pro cms software.the other problem I had was setting the motion to record following there instructions in the book. Once again they addressed this by providing step by step instructions in return email.Support was quick to resolve these issues.The 1 negative that I have is that the 8ch has a vga and hdmi out but does not have a bnc out, whereas the 16ch does. I needed both a vga & bnc out and subsequently ordered an adapter to accomplish my need.Would definitely recommend this product line and would definitely buy again.
