Creativity For Kids Make Your Own Shrink Fun Mini Craft Kit

My 4-year-old granddaughter and I had a wonderful time making these fairies! Coloring was fun and easy with the included colored pencils (be sure to color on the rough side). We placed them on aluminum foil on a cookie sheet, put them in the 350-degree oven and watched as the figures curled and then became flat again. It only took about 3 minutes. They shrink quite a bit and become thicker. Then they easily fit in the included foam stands for play! She enjoyed making the flowers and bugs as well and sticking them on the background with the foam sticky pads. All-in-all this was a lot of fun and great value! I would love to see more shrinky-kits like this!

Bought these for my 5 yr old nieces, and they absolutely loved them. As a matter of fact, so did my 5 yr old & 6 yr old nephews, and 7 yr neighbor girl. Everyone was coloring and coloring, and coloring. We were all sitting on the dock, next to a lake, on an absolutely gorgeous day, coloring and baking shrinky dinks! That's how much fun everyone was having !When I asked what the twins might want for their birthdays, the reply was "Well one like crafting and the other one like baking". I immediately thought back to my childhood and Shrinky Dinks! Did they still exist? Heck yes, so I bought tons of them.I also bought the oven to go with it, so it was no stop baking, and watching them shrink. They were amazed every single time.Gotta admit, I too was pretty much taken at watching these thing shrink, and shrink, and shrink again. Great, cheap fun for all ages and amazingly for boys & girls alike! I still couldn't believe the boys couldn't get enough of them either. Good thing there are dinosaur and insect sets! I know what I'm getting them for their birthdays!

Bought this as a gift for my crafty 6-year-old. She loved coloring the fairies, watching them shrink, and creating her own little fairy village. As far as shrink crafts goes, this is one of the better ones we've purchased. No regrets and would buy it again! In the oven, ours curled A LOT. I was worried that they wouldn't flatten out again and tried to "fix" one fairy and broke her. I think we should have waited longer than the instructions recommended for them to completely curl and uncurl before attempting any triage. Still, it didn't dampen the fun.

My daughter loved these! The designs are adorable and she enjoyed being able to dress up their background. You have to be patient. The instructions say they should take 1-3 minutes for the whole process. It was more like 7-10 for ours. Some didn’t start curling until 2 minutes in so if it doesn’t happen right away you just have to wait for it. In the pictures that were posted for other reviews saying they didn’t work, the pictures show they were taken out right in the middle of baking. User error. They will curl up almost into themselves before laying down.

This was a gift for my 5yo. They loved to color and shrink these. This was one of the nicer sets of many that I purchased, and it's a good value. They take a good bit of time to color, and watching them shrink in the oven (5ish minutes) is always fun.

If anyone is looking for a project to keep young kids occupied in pandemic, this is NOT it. These are far too detailed for little ones. An adult who is good at coloring with VERY sharp pencils could do it. I bought this for a project I am doing for my daughter, so I don't mind, but any little one would likely not be able to handle the detail that is on the fairies. From experience if you don't color them perfectly they won't come out well.Fair warning to anyone thinking about buying this for their little one! Happy new year!

Arrived on time!Gifted these to a 6 and 9 year old. Super fun indoor craft activity for a hot summer day. Worked just like they did when I was a kid. Girls loved it!

My grandson wanted to get these for his little sister. He remembered them from when he was little. She is 3 and LOVED them! We will get more! Fun to make and to play with after baking!

We followed the instructions exactly, and we ruined the project, as the instructions were wrong and misleading.

one of the most entertaining games, kids adore it. It has to be used under adult supervision.
