Giving Away My Age
I have been using this for no joke...20 years now? Which is pretty insane. I used this through the early 2000s crunchy hard gel look time period and loved it because it didn't make my hair look wet. And then I stopped when we all stopped doing that look and started blowdrying our hair. And now that we can wear our hair natural again, I've brought it back. It takes the hair some time to adjust and get "used" to it. It actually did make my hair a bit crunchy in the beginning but then the hair remembered....oh, this is the good stuff and now it's just perfectly wavy and not frizzy. I have been influenced to buy many things over the years but will always come back for this one.

Adding this to my daily routine
I have African-American 4b-c hair and have been using Paul Mitchell Foaming Pommade exclusively (on the recommendation of my natural hair stylist) for more than a year and been quite satisfied with it. But recently, I saw a review on youtube about Paul Mitchell The Conditioner and Round Trip and I must say that I'm pleased with the additional texture provided by the addition of these products. Previously, I applied the Foaming Pommade to my damp or semi-damp (in the winter months) hair and loved the results. I applied just a quarter's amount and massaged until it foamed (like I had applied shampoo) and it dried without any film and looked great! At least one a week, someone would ask me what I did to my hair to get such curl definition. Then, after seeing the youtube review for Round-Trip and The Conditioner, I purchased them both. First, the Round Trip -- it definitely helped to define my curl -- but was a bit hard and crunchy even when combined with the Foaming Pommade. The Conditioner made the real difference -- I apply The Conditioner first to freshly washed hair, then Round Trip and Foaming Pommade. Cute! Love it! Highly recommended!

Curls galore
I've always known I had a little bit of curl in my hair but not much. Then I saw a video on YouTube on how to "plop" your hair. Look it up! When I plop my hair and then use this product on it, I have constant curls. I can go five or six days with curls. I just have to add more product and then flip my head upside down and then diffuse while scrunching. have never ever gotten more compliments on my hair in my life. And I'm 59 years old.! Smells good, feels sticky but not after hair dries, super easy to use and holds well.

I didn't use it
First ingredient has been banned in the European union since 2022. Trying to be healthy inside and out. Sorry paul mitchell, looks aren't everything.

Yes!
After many years of straightening my hair, I decided to embrace the curl. I've tried so many products that are simply OK. Paul Mitchell Round Trip is a game changer. I started getting ready for work earlier than usual just in case I had to start again. Washed, conditioned, applied product and then diffused. DONE! Fluffy, beautiful, bouncy curls with time to spare.I'm so glad I trusted the other positive reviews. It was so easy!

I've used Roundtrip for 10 years and still love it
A stylist introduced me to this product 13 years ago and I've been a loyal user since. I have long/wavy/curly/thick hair and Roundtrip is my essential hair product. I use Paul Mitchell products exclusively because they are cruelty-free and they work (even their dog-shampoo)! Win-Win! The best way I've found to use Roundtrip is as follows: Wash (Paul Mitchell Awapuhi), condition (Paul Mitchell Colorperfect Conditioner - it's like silk!), and then brush hair in the shower (important), rinse then wring hair, turn head upside down, shake excess water, and briefly scrunch dry hair. Stand upright and use 8 to 10 pumps of Round trip, rub into hands and tousel and scrunch through hair. I may use 2 or 3 more pumps, depending. Do not brush. Let naturally dry or use a diffuser to dry. Scrunch after drying. It holds without the crunchy feeling of gel. You can even use it to reduce frizziness on those days that you don't wash your hair. Just gently brush hair, get hair somewhat wet and mix a little Roundtrip with water in your palm, rub together, and distribute evenly, then scrunch when dry. It's an awesome product and I still get tons of compliments on my hair! Thank you Paul Mitchell for being awesomely cruelty-free!
