Update: It's been 3 months now and no fleas are in my house. I did give the cats oral medication on and off through the first 3 weeks. I am still paranoid and when I see a cat scratch I run for the flea comb to check its fur. I didn't have to use any more chemical sprays after using this. I just bought more of these to put up again to keep things under control. I can't even find a spider anymore.---------------------------------------------------------------(Recommendations regarding cockroaches and fleas.) I researched the chemical in Gentrol extensively for several weeks before using it.I had a serious flea infestation. I've got it pretty much under control with several products. I would not use this chemical alone, even for cockroaches. This product prevents eggs from hatching and increases cockroach hunger. Ensure they have POISON to eat because of that! You will probably see MORE cockroaches at first because they will be searching for food. Don't give a bad review because you saw more cockroaches. That's how this chemical works. When it's working on cockroaches you might also see deformed females roaming around with eggs on their backs. Those eggs won't hatch. With this, you might also want to apply a knockdown pesticide.My cats are on a monthly oral IGR in addition to a daily oral medication for fleas. These days, I hardly ever see fleas at all. I've already used Ortho Max Bed Bug, Flea, and Tick Killer with the wand and used Tekko Pro which is another IGR on all my carpeting and floors. My infestation was so bad they recommend an exterminator.Gentrol works on cockroaches and fleas. Reviews indicate that some users have successfully used this for other insects as well with good results. Gentrol Point Source is widely dispersed and drifts around well. It is suitable to hang in your kitchen and safe for both people and pets (cats included). My cats and I have not experienced any health issues as a result of these. Even though Point Source pucks ( I refer to Gentrol Point Source as "pucks") are not specifically labeled for fleas, that's what I bought it for. They are rather simple to install. How to activate them is the issue. I'll tell you how I got these to work. I've included images in my description.1) When you first take one out of the box, take a black marker and put a dot to mark what month you are putting them up. It's labeled on the side with the bump. (See photos)2 and 3) Lie it down so it's flat on a hard surface with the “bump side up”. Apply pressure with a screwdriver handle on the bump until you hear a crack. It is now activated. In addition, I would indicate on your calendar which month they should be changed. They last for 3 months.4) Turn it over “bump side down”, and put your included adhesive pad on the flat side so you can fasten it to the wall or ceiling. Peel the paper off the pad and attach it to where you want it. One way to combat a cockroach infestation is to place a few extra pucks in each room. It states this in the instructions. Calculate the square footage of your room by measuring. A minimum of one puck is required for every 75 square feet. Keep them at least 3 feet away from pet food dishes. I hung most of mine on the ceiling. In some places, I put them on the walls. I've even put one on the bottom side of my kitchen table. I have a 2-story house with a basement. I've put up 50 pucks in my home.If I find these don't work on fleas, I will let you know.

with in days of using these along with other insecticides you will see a drastic drop in numbers. they just cant multiply after using this

These work well, as advertised. The main thing to remember is that they don't last forever and you need to keep track of the date you activated them and then replace as the instructions direct. I have purchased before and I do recommend their use.

Takes a little while but it does its job very well.

Waste of my money I put them in high traffic areas and I saw an increase rather than decrease dissatisfied for sure
