Jason Hair Spray, Thin to Thick Extra Volume, 8 Fl Oz (Packaging May Vary)

I have fine, wavy, and thick (meaning a ton of it) hair that also happens to get pretty oily, especially after working out or not washing it for a couple of days. Most conditioners I’ve found are too heavy/will make my hair soft in the morning after a wash but end up making it look greasy and attract dirt by the end of the day, especially on days when I just rinse/throw in some conditioner and wash it out. I decided to give this conditioner a shot, and I was pleasantly surprised! It restores my hair’s natural volume, keeps it wavy, shiny, soft and best of all, does not make it greasy by the end of the day! I use a blueberry sized amount applied to my mid-lengths to ends, which seems to be enough for my shoulder length hair. I would strongly recommend this for fine, oily hair types that need just a little hydration boost. This works well with the shampoo I currently use (NaturOli Soapnut Shampoo for Oily Hair) as well as on its own when I just rinse my hair with water. It doesn’t smell great (I hate how most of the Jason products smell), but the smell does go away by the time my hair dries. If how it smells is a dealbreaker for you, though, I would probably avoid this. But for me, since it just makes my hair look and feel so great, I will probably keep putting up with how it smells. UPDATE: I’ve been using this for a couple of months now, and I still find it definitely worth the cost and putting up with the fragrance. I get the best results when I put a quarter size amount in my mid-lengths to ends, put my hair up in a shower cap, and leave it in for 3-5 minutes before rinsing it out with cold water. My hair is soft, detangled, and most importantly still has its wavy volume and is not weighed down, or greasy. I’ve switched shampoos (serial shampoo switcher here), but it still works well with my new one (OGX Hydrating Sunflower Blonde).

The first time I bought this shampoo, it was so hard to lather up I felt like I was pulling out more hairs than saving them. Then they came out with this formula and I gave it a try. Finally it lathers up quickly the first time you apply it. If you're especially grimy and need a second application, it lathers up even better and faster. No more struggling to get this stuff to clean your hair to give it volume and thickness. The old formula was so heavy that even after using 2 applications, by the next day my hair was oily looking. Now after 24 hours it still looks clean and fuller. I tried using it with Thin to Thick Extra Volume Conditioner 8 oz , which I didn't particularly care for as it is a very heavy conditioner. You really have to spend a few minutes washing it out of your hair or later in the day your hair will get that greasy look to it. Mostly I just use Jason's Shampoo and use NEXXUS Diametress Luscious Volume Conditioner, 13.5 Fluid Ounce , which is also quite a remarkable product. One time I forgot to rinse out the conditioner, towel-dried my hair, and later realized what I had done. Well, not only was my hair soft and fuller, but it didn't feel oily a day later. So now I use Jason's as my shampoo and Nexxus as my conditioner (and wash it out). The latter you can buy at CVS or Walgreens, while the former can only be bought online. But how does it work? Fantastic! As a person who has thinning hair and developing the after-40 bald spot, Jason's shampoo simply makes it look fuller, as if I had more strands of hair. How do I know this? Just by looking at before and after pictures. Before you could see my scalp and now it's beneath full head of hair. Granted, I wasn't going "bald" but it was getting bad enough where I felt uncomfortable about myself. Now I don't and it sure beats trying to remember to use Minoxidil every day and learning that it's only a temporary solution (stop using Minoxidil, hair goes back to being thin). This at least gives the appearance of a fuller head of hair so I'll keep using it as long as Jason keeps making it!

I read the reviews on this one before I bought it and was not disappointed. This shampoo as well as conditioner really does work to make the hair feel strong and thick. As a personal care chemist, I know what to look for as far as natural products go, and this one does a pretty good job while still providing all the properties people look for in a conditioner. Has a slight tea tree smell which is invigorating and refreshing.

This really helps my thinning hair look lustrous and thicker. I wash once and then again leaving it on for duration of shower..... even after a couple of days it still holds its fluff! I love and trust the Jason products.

I'm at a stage with hair that is right there on the border, I cant afford to lose more but at the same time I'm happy with the coverage and over all look. I do my best to use products that will be beneficial to my hair, and of course ones that will help with adding more fullness and thickening. I have tried many shampoos, some were really good, but once my hair got used to them I needed to switch it up and use others. Its like supplements with working out, you need to cycle off and on - at least that's my experience. This particular one is definitely THE WORST one I have ever tried. I cant say one positive thing about it. It makes the hair flat, it doesn't smell good, and it most definitely didn't do any thickening for me anyways. It did the opposite, my hair felt dry, flat, and really unhealthy. I have tried other really good ones here on Amazon, I will not mention the names because I don't want people thinking I work for those companies. If you are interested in knowing the other brands that worked for me, don't hesitate to send me a message. HINT : one of them is the one that has the most feedback on Amazon, the other which in my eyes is even better is half the price and has Argan in its name :)

I have no issue with this product as I have been using it for years but I was disappointed that it arrived rolling around in the packing box with a loose lid and part of the product caked to the bottle. It’s too much hassle to return it.

I have used this product for over twenty years and am pleased I can purchase and receive in India now. It is natural based made by the famous brand JASON. It really works and the shampoo/conditioner are also great. If your hair is thinning these products really help with volume and thickening and no chemicals that make your scalp react irritatingly. It is absolutlely worth the money for quality natural ingredients and it really works. Try the thickening spray one time and you will be a customer for life if you are a man with thinning hair. You do have to have a reasonable amount of thinning hair though for it to work great... it is not a miracle in a bottle if you have extreme hair loss.
