Q: will it keep dairy products cold enough so not to spoil?

I use my Bubba cup everyday. I fill it with ice and water and the ice is still there for no day's! I would say yes to dairy products since they will be cold to begin with. Love my Bubba cup!

Q: Can you use the sip lid without the straw

Not really...my daughter hated the straw and would use it without, but opened it up by unscrewing the lid and drinking directly from the Bubba. She said you could tip it up really far, but then the water just pours out. It didn't work that way for her...hope that helps!

Q: How do I get the top to flip up?

Just push down, with your thumb, that piece that you see sticking up in the pic. No need to touch the straw-like piece that you drink out of. Also, I have a newer Ford Escape and this bottle does not fit well, it's too big, in my cup holder. :(

Q: Can you put water in the bottle half-full and place it in the freezer until the water is frozen solid? I'd like ice water to last all day.

I just fill it with ice, then water and ice lasts allot day into the evening..
