Though somewhat thin the hat keeps the head warm in cold weather. Colour is a little off of navy blue--a little lighter. Being so thin I didn't care for the appearance but it makes it easier to put in one's coat pocket or rucksack.

Absolutely excellent! Bought for snow sports and is absolutely ideal for wearing high up in the Austrian Alps . Lovely soft and warm merino wool that is very lightweight and thin, folds up very small and is not at all noticeable in a jacket pocket whilst on the slopes. Very good quality and well worth the price!

Smaller than the size in the pics. Not a slouch beanie at all. And be careful how you buy. I made the mistake of buying one that doesn't really have free returns, even though its through Prime, so I've had to just throw it out because the return cost is so high. Read carefully!
