Leaks on second one in less than 1 year
The cap to the cell leaks. I am on my second cap in less than one year. When this brand first came out all the pool service people loved it because you don’t need acid to clean it, only a thin paint stir stick to knock the debris off between plates. After one year the pool maintenance companies said they all are experiencing problems with leaking. Avoid this product!

DO NOT BUY
Only giving this 4 stars so everyone sees it.Got this through a local pool store approximatel 3 years ago and have had nothing but problems since.Biggest one is the cap leaking. I have tried everything and will not seal. Cap also cracks easily and replacements are not available according to local pool store bought this through. Also has never produced the amount of chlorine my previous 20 year old cell did with fewer elements. Was supposed to be over-sized for my pool

have the jacuzzi model: jscs-40
totally worth it, cell replacement a decent price compared to other brands. will purchase again, just need to make replacement parts available for all models and keep them inexpensive, and c-m-p will do well in the market.

Less than 8 months old. 3rd one!
Came with my new pool. Started leaking less than a year in. That time, it was the cap. Took about 2 weeks to get a replacement. That one lasted about 10 months and the cap cracked again. Replaced and now that one the actual plastic salt cell is cracked in multiple places. Waiting for a resolution/swap. This is the most awfully designed and built part I've ever dealt with. You expect to pay for replacement parts every year as a pool owner. This doesn't even last as long as my yearly pool brush and that coats $10. Ridiculous.

Leaks if you look at it the wrong way
This system works for awhile after the initial install. But wait a few months and you'll see it starts to leak from the cord at the cell cap. No matter how many times you clean and reseat the o-ring, leak won't stop. This is the second system I've had. The prior one developed a crack in the actual cap and I had to pay for a whole new salt cell. At this point I'm just going to need to learn to live with the leak and avoid this brand in the future.

Doesn't last
Cell will last around a year and fail, 3rd one in 3 years, bought 3 year warranty and I have to gill out form and add pictures. Sorry but I feel this is pure junk, customer service is very rude... I'll find a better rated unit and I hope others read this before you buy... I wish I did.
